The 2025 Mercato Dei Vini dei Vignaioli  is preparing to celebrate its 14th edition, which will take place from 15 to 17 November in the BolognaFiere exhibition centre. The most important event for Italian winegrowers is therefore preparing to attract lovers of quality, artisanal and local wines.

A thousand winemakers from all Italian regions will be present. They will be joined by three delegations of European winemakers representing national associations belonging to CEVI – Confédération Européenne des Vignerons Indépendants and 28 members of FIOI – Federazione Italiana Olivicoltori Indipendenti (Italian Federation of Independent Olive Growers).

2025 Mercato Dei Vini dei Vignaioli : over 8,000 wines to taste

BolognaFiere will provide almost 40,000 square metres of space, spread over four pavilions, to accommodate exhibitors and the public. Winemakers will be reserved for the 29th and 30th, while the 26th and 28th will be dedicated to food and services to the public. The central gallery will host the partners and sponsors of the Wine Market, while the Mall gallery will host the FIVI institutional stand, with T-shirts and other gadgets bearing the “Independent Winemakers” logo.

BolognaFiere confirms the event until 2028

Meanwhile, the exhibition centre, which has hosted the 2025 Mercato Dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti for three years, has reconfirmed the venue until 2028 thanks to the renewal of its collaboration with FIVI. For Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere, this is an important sign of the growth and value of this event, which combines the quality of the wines with the passion of the producers. ‘Together with Slow Wine Fair and SANA Food, the Wine Market consolidates BolognaFiere’s role as an exhibition platform of excellence for the agri-food sector, helping to promote the territory and the work of Italian producers.’

Awards and special events

The programme of the 2025 Mercato Dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti – https://mercatodeivini.it/ will also be enriched by four masterclasses focusing on the theme “Wine, vineyards, winemakers: a family history”, organised in collaboration with ALMA, a centre for advanced training in Italian cuisine and hospitality at an international level.

The event will also celebrate the winners of “Vignaiolo come noi” (Winemaker like us), an award given this year to the Bolognese writer Enrico Brizzi, and the “Leonildo Pieropan” award, dedicated to the memory of one of the founders of FIVI.

During the three days, several establishments in Bologna affiliated with the Associazione Mescitori Organizzati (Organised Bartenders Association) will offer special events attended by FIVI winemakers.
