In anticipation of the next edition, October 9-12 in the halls of the Bari fairgrounds, Agrilevante 2025 edition presented the eighth edition of the show in Dubai. This event has established itself over the years as the most important in the agricultural field not only for the center and south of our country, but for the entire Mediterranean basin, Balkan Europe and the Middle East. A complete and articulated event, where, alongside machines, plants and technologies for agriculture, there is also a large section dedicated to animal husbandry.
Innovation, efficiency and sustainability the pluses of the Italian market
As recalled by Valerio Soldani, director of the ICE Dubai Office, during the presentation conference of Agrilevante 2025 edition in Dubai, an area like the Gulf, where environmental conditions impose significant challenges, there are many opportunities for Italian technologies, capable of standing out for their capacity for innovation, efficiency and sustainability. And the Bari fair is “an ideal platform to strengthen the collaboration between Italian companies and Emirati operators, enhancing an already solid business relationship full of achievements.”
After all, the agricultural machinery market is experiencing a prolonged phase of growth in the UAE, uninterrupted for a good four years, touching 35 percent, according to Exportplanning’s findings. While analysts’ forecasts indicate that the growth trend is expected to be confirmed in the short and medium term as well, albeit at a slower pace, but still not less than 5 percent on average per year. Milk processing systems, seeding, transplanting and fertilizing solutions, and livestock machinery are, according to Istat, the main export items of Italian companies to the Emirates.
Agrilevante 2025 edition: what’s new for the 2025 edition
In 2023, the event saw the participation of 350 exhibiting industries from 20 countries and recorded the presence of 95,000 visitors, 4,000 of whom came from 27 countries, confirming it as an event of international caliber.
In addition to buyers, operators and technicians from the Mediterranean area, Balkan and Middle Eastern regions, 120 foreign delegates representing 38 countries are expected in Bari this year. During the four days of Agrilevante 2025 edition – https://www.agrilevante.eu/it/ – the foreign delegates, whose incoming is carried out by the ICE Agency in collaboration with FederUnacoma, will be engaged in business-to-business meetings with exhibiting industries.
There are several new features at this edition, starting with the REAL space, specially dedicated to robotic technologies for the primary sector, and the Bologna Club meeting, which for the first time will be held in Bari.
There is also a new look for the technical innovations competition, which is divided into two categories: the first reserved for the most significant new innovations for the agricultural sector, and the second for green maintenance technologies.
Another novelty is for the gardening sector with the Levante Green show, featuring the most advanced machines and equipment for the care of those green spaces.
