Scheduled from February 2 to 5, 2026 in Riva del Garda (Tn), Hospitality 2026 – The Hospitality Show, launches the ‘Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Hospitality’ initiative.
In fact, the international fair to hôtellerie and catering, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, presents a new project to give voice and enhance projects that break down physical, sensory, cognitive, food and cultural barriers and make tourism truly open to everyone.
All facilities in the tourism sector, from hotels and non-hotels to restaurants, caterers, campsites or spas, will be able to participate. Applications are open until May 20, 2025 at https://hospitalityriva.it/it/hospitality-award
Hospitality 2026: the collaboration with WMF – We Make Future
The objective of the award, as stressed by Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager of Hospitality. to reward innovative ideas with a strong impact on the sector, sustainable and replicable, accompanied by an effective storytelling. “All facilities in the tourism sector, from hotels and non-hotels to restaurants, catering, camping or spas, are invited to present solutions, services and initiatives capable of improving the guest experience by speaking the language of inclusion.”
Created in collaboration with WMF – We Make Future, Italy’s leading trade fair dedicated to digital innovation, the contest will give the winning company the opportunity to participate in both events by telling its story. In fact, the winner will take the stage at the 2025 edition of the festival, scheduled to take place at BolognaFiere from June 4 to 6, to present its project during the awards ceremony. He or she will also have access to networking opportunities with professionals and stakeholders from around the world. Criteria for entering the competition
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of experts in hospitality, accessibility, inclusive design and communication. There will be four criteria: concrete impact on accessibility and inclusivity for guests; degree of technological, managerial or experiential innovation; sustainability and replicability of the proposed model; and quality of project communication.
At Hospitality 2026, Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Hospitality is part of the event’s broader commitment to Hospitality for All, which also includes the ‘Startup for Hospitality’ contest and the multi-year Di Ognuno project, also reproposed at the upcoming We Make Future Festival.
The latter is an initiative developed in collaboration with Lombardini22 and Village for all – V4A, which from 2024 to the HoReCa world concrete ideas in this area. In the 2025 edition, it put the breakfast room at the center of reflection.
