From April 3 to 6, Romics 2025, the International Festival of Comics, Animation, Cinema and Games, will be held at Fiera Roma. The four-day event, transforms Rome into the capital of imagination, with a program full of events, world-class guests, exclusive previews, and spaces dedicated to audiences of all ages.
Cultural and institutional partnerships
In fact, the event includes simultaneous events in the five pavilions and more than 350 exhibitors who will welcome fans in the more than 70,000 square meters of exhibition space. Italian creatives, professionals and companies operating in the comics, illustration, cinema and games sectors find in the event an opportunity to promote themselves and meet their target audience.
At Romics 2025 in collaboration with Lazio Region, Lazio Innova, Rome Chamber of Commerce and Sviluppo e Territorio, Azienda Speciale Camera di Commercio di Roma will also have an exhibition area reserved for Lazio businesses and professionals. The aim will be to support their growth and present their projects to the general public.
The partnership with the Center for Books and Reading Autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Culture and the Istituzione Sistema Biblioteche e Centri Culturali di Roma Capitale, which are also sponsoring this edition, also continues. A collaboration that aims to promote reading and book access services, starting with the publishing formats and genres that are increasingly appreciated by children and young people.
Tom & Jerry celebrate their 85th birthday
On the occasion of Romics 2025, Tom & Jerry, the couple created 85 years ago by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, will be featured – in the territory and on the web.
Horror, in its most endless forms, will be one of the story lines of the spring edition of Romics. For the occasion, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia, and Dylan Dog, the Romics d’Oro will be awarded to Barbara Baraldi, editor of the title dedicated to the “Nightmare Investigator,” published by Sergio Bonelli Editore. Also receiving the Romics d’Oro in addition to Baraldi are Hal Hickel, Furuya Usamaru, Deanna Marsigliese.
Special events and exhibitions
Exhibitions 2025 will take you on a journey between art and imagination: from the dark atmospheres of Barbara Baraldi, with an exhibition that traverses the thriller and horror of Dylan Dog, to the epic visions of Paolo Barbieri, and the celebration of 20 years of the Comics and Illustration Course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Not to be missed are the exhibitions dedicated to the Star Wars universe and the works of Deanna Marsigliese.

Such as the tribute to Goldrake for the 50th anniversary of the anime, Giorgio Vanni’s live show, the performance between drawing and music by illustrator Paolo Barbieri and musician Claudio Simonetti, the cycle of masterclasses and workshops with great Italian and international authors, the latest in cinema and Series in the Movie Village. Plus: the most anticipated titles in the games universe with web stars, including CiccioGamer, Roby, Jenny and LorenzIST.
