From January 13 to 15, the Prowinter 2025 event returns to Fiera Bolzano. As always, at this location, manufacturers and wholesalers of winter sports and outdoor products will present their latest products to retailers, rentals, ski schools and ski clubs. An opportunity to see, touch and evaluate new products that can be ordered for the upcoming season. A trade show with an important B2B soul for renters and retailers, who want to inform themselves before they buy. There is no shortage of opportunities to meet with colleagues, exchange opinions, new ideas and points of view.

For young retailers, NextGen RetailPro debuts.

The store has always represented the nodal point of the distribution chain, the last link in the chain that brings a product to the consumer, and as everyone knows, the skills developed by shopkeepers and their employees are the basis of a store’s success. Skills and abilities that are necessarily required the more the retail is specialized in a specific sector. And precisely for this reason, on the occasion of the upcoming Prowinter 2025, the organizers are launching NextGen RetailPro, a unique opportunity for very young retailers entering the winter sports sector to discover all the companies that will be speaking at Fiera Bolzano, network and become part of the community.

On Monday, January 13, twenty young salespeople under 25, active in the sporting goods retail sector, will be taken on a guided tour of Prowinter 2025 to scrounge up product innovations, new brands and trends related to the theme of sustainability, as well as other educational opportunities.
Participants will have the opportunity to watch two exceptional key note speakers who will lend their expertise to reveal the tricks of the trade and tell their own journey. The first will be Vittorio Forato, marketing manager of AKU, which specializes in footwear, and vice president of Italian Outdoor Group, who will talk about the future of the mountain-related business trade.
The second will be a representative of Pool Sci Italia, a consortium of ski and snow equipment companies, who will explain to young retailers the dynamics behind athlete sponsorship, and how these can affect sales to the public.

Focus on the outdoors as well

For this twenty-fifth edition, Prowinter 2025 – https://www.fierabolzano.it/it/prowinter/home – will also open its doors to the wide-ranging and multifaceted outdoor sector as a reminder of how the mountains can be experienced in different ways and therefore approached with different equipment.  Prowinter Outdoor sums up a different way of experiencing high altitude that integrates with the more traditional time dedicated to on-piste skiing.

Reconfirmed also in 2025 are the initiatives Test Days powered by ITASnow and Prove Libere Retail by Pool Sci Italia aimed at retailers, renters and trade press who will be able to test, for the first time in Europe, the products of the next season. An unmissable opportunity also for networking and the event’s sense of community.
