From October 23 to 26, BolognaFiere opened its doors to Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025, Europe’s leading historic motoring show, now in its 42nd edition, which is expected to be a memorable one. On display are Formula 1, Honda Classic, Heritage HUB Stellantis, Ferrari and Fiat single-seaters, historic clubs, never-before-seen rarities, and 235,000 square meters of passion divided into four thematic areas.
The exhibition-event for the 75th anniversary of Formula 1
Among the most eagerly awaited new features at Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 is the exhibition ‘75:1 – 75 years, one seat’, which traces the technical, sporting, and cultural evolution of the world’s most important motor racing competition with authentic single-seaters from the 1950s to the 2000s. Among the protagonists are three masterpieces preserved by the National Automobile Museum: the Ferrari 500 F2 (1952), a car that made history thanks to its simple but effective mechanics, the Ferrari 156 F1 (1963), designed according to the regulations introduced in 1961 (maximum displacement of 1.5 liters and minimum weight of 450 kg), and Kimi Räikkönen’s Ferrari F2007, the first Ferrari of the post-Schumacher era and, at the same time, the last single-seater to bring the world drivers’ title back to Maranello.
The organizer of Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 has selected 12 iconic single-seaters for a central exhibition at the Service Center, arranged along a path that chronologically traces the major stages in the evolution of F1. Another 18 single-seaters will be housed in exhibitors’ stands, in a ‘diffused exhibition’ that spans the entire exhibition area and brings Formula 1 into direct contact with the public.
The exhibition will be a unique opportunity to explore seven decades of technology, innovation, and legend, from the romantic roar of the 1950s to the hyper-technological era of the new millennium, told through the cars that made history.
The whole world of classic cars in a single fair
Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 – https://autoemotodepoca.com/ – is confirmed for 2025 as not only the largest European market for historic motoring, but also the place where memories run fast and car culture is transformed into living emotion.
Just think that two pavilions will be entirely dedicated to vintage spare parts with exhibitors specializing in original components, faithful replicas, and hard-to-find accessories, divided by era, brand, and model.
There will also be space for the Automobilia section, with collectibles, posters, signs, trophies, and memorabilia that tell the epic story of four and two wheels. At the same time, the Gallery Hall at BolognaFiere will once again host ‘Time on Show’, an event dedicated to vintage and collectible watches. Organized by BolognaFiere, it is a real meeting point for enthusiasts, collectors, industry experts, and personalities from the world of design.
