From May 6-8 at Fieramilano Rho, Made in Steel 2025 edition, an international conference & exhibition dedicated to the steel supply chain organized by siderweb – The steel community, will take place.
At this 11th edition there will be 385 steel companies present, up 21% from 2023. Among the companies attending, 34.5 percent are from abroad, a marked improvement over the previous edition (25.2 percent). Twenty-five countries were represented, including Turkey, Germany, France, Britain, and Belgium for Europe, and the United Arab Emirates, China and India for what concerns non-European countries.
The exhibition area is also on the rise, rising from about 15 thousand square meters to about 18 thousand (+18.2%), a new all-time record for the international event. More than 50 buyers, both Italian and foreign, will attend the three-day event, thanks to the collaboration with ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies.
The beauty of steel
Made in Steel 2025 edition reconfirms itself as the international benchmark event for the entire national and European steel supply chain, from production to use, through processing and services, including logistics. All this is evidenced by the sold-out exhibition spaces reached already at the beginning of the year. All the more so at a time when steel is going through several uncertainties about its future, due to trade tensions, geopolitical instability, high costs, and the need to invest in decarbonization.
Theme of this edition ‘The Beauty of Steel,’ or the beauty of steel that endures and transforms to remain competitive.
Winning synergy with Lamiera
Made in Steel 2025 edition will be held in partial conjunction with Lamiera, an international exhibition promoted by Ucimu-Sistemi Per Produrre. The event dedicated to the machine tool industry for sheet metal forming and cutting, in fact, will begin on May 6 and end on May 9 in Halls 13 and 15. A synergy intended to encourage visitor circularity and multiply opportunities for doing business. After first accessing the exhibition for which they have registered, visitors will subsequently be able to circulate freely in the second concurrent exhibition as well.
A rich schedule of meetings
There will be more than 50 speakers, from Italy and Europe, who will take part in the moments of in-depth analysis and analysis during Made in Steel 2025 edition – www.madeinsteel.it -. They will talk about the economic situation and prospects for carbon and stainless steel; the new siderweb project ‘Industry & Steel 2050’; decarbonization; and also about steel prices, women’s employment and technological innovation.
The conference program, in addition to the appointments to be held in the siderweb Conference Room, this year includes a series of 7 events in the form of talks hosted in the siderweb Arena, in the center of Halls 22 and 24 at fieramilano Rho. For the first time, there will also be the Steel Talking Arena, where companies can present their projects.
