SBE 2025 – Smart Building Expo, scheduled from 19 to 21 November at Fieramilano Rho, is an event focused on technological integration in buildings and cities. A unique opportunity for designers, engineers and installers to see concrete solutions first-hand and understand every aspect of the twin transition taking place in the built environment.
Thanks to the presence of numerous international players, SBE Smart Building Expo will offer innovative solutions and concrete guidance on how to navigate the evolution of building automation and the transformation of buildings and cities.
The focus will therefore be on the energy and digital transition, i.e. the integration of intelligent systems, sensors, IoT and software to optimise the management, maintenance, safety and comfort of buildings and cities, making them smarter, more resilient and more sustainable.
Updates and training
The SBE 2025 edition confirms the growth trend with over 140 exhibitors, 26% of whom come from 17 countries, with Germany, France, Turkey, Switzerland and the USA among the most represented, and a 20% increase in exhibition space. The offer is completed by a varied programme of workshops, training events and networking meetings. Here, professionals will be able to learn more about emerging technologies, European regulations and the tools available to tackle the phase of change.
The update programme is divided into themed days during which the future of zero emissions, electrification, the role of smart cities and much more will be discussed.
The event will also host the National Smart Installer Meeting, dedicated to the professionalisation of installers. The special guest for 2025 is the brand new European project Life-Skema, a partnership led by Enaip through which the European Union has set itself the goal of retraining technical personnel to make them fit for the new challenges of the twin transition (digital and energy) of the building stock.
Focus on innovation in the Renewable Energy District
Another key feature of SBE 2025 – https://smartbuildingexpo.it/ – is the Renewable Energy District, a dynamic space curated by the media company Rinnovabili, which hosts debates, meetings and an immersive exhibition area dedicated to emerging technologies.
In addition, thanks to the collaboration with Assil, a Confindustria association focused on lighting systems, there is also an area dedicated to this strategic issue in terms of energy efficiency.
