A Veronafiere, the Casa del Made in Italy (House of Made in Italy) opens its doors, a new hub for connecting businesses, innovation and markets. Located in the heart of the exhibition centre, it is the result of collaboration with the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.

The three-year agreement, signed on 27 October in Verona in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso and Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere, strengthens the role of the exhibition centre as a platform for the development and internationalisation of the Italian production system.

A Veronafiere: the objectives of the new permanent space

The agreement represents a further step in the cooperation between institutions and the exhibition world, to increase the competitiveness of companies and, at the same time, promote their growth and presence on international markets. The Casa del Made in Italy will be a permanent space, made available A Veronafiere, dedicated to information and guidance on the policies and support tools of the Ministry and other public bodies.

Companies will thus be able to access support services on subsidies, incentives and development programmes, as well as participate in workshops, promotional initiatives and meetings during the main trade fairs in the Veronafiere calendar. These include Vinitaly, Marmomac, Fieragricola, Fieracavalli, Samoter, Progetto Fuoco and LetExpo.

The agreement, which falls within the framework of Law 206/2023 on the promotion of Made in Italy and the protocol signed between Mimit and Aefi (Association of Italian Exhibitions and Fairs), also provides for the involvement of the Ministry in conferences and seminars promoted A Veronafiere.

A new laboratory of ideas

Federico Bricolo, president of Veronafiere, said on the sidelines of the presentation: “Today we confirm the role of the Verona Exhibition Centre as a strategic platform at the service of the national production system. The House of Made in Italy will be a space for listening to and supporting companies, but also a laboratory of ideas from which to develop joint projects for the promotion of our chains of excellence. This new collaboration with Mimit, together with those already in place with other ministries and with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, represents a virtuous model of public-private synergy, in which institutions, associations and industry operators act as enablers of growth and internationalisation, with the common goal of generating concrete value for businesses and strengthening the competitive positioning of Made in Italy in the world”.
