The winter mountain trade fair Prowinter 2026 will return to Bolzano from Sunday 11 to Tuesday 13 January. Next year, the B2B event dedicated to the world of outdoor and winter sports will celebrate its 25th edition with a revamped and increasingly international format. Following the success of 2025, in response to increased demand for exhibition space, the fair is expanding its premises and growing its international profile.

Lots of new features in store for the 25th edition

The main new feature will be the opening of an entire pavilion, which will house the Scandinavian Village, located next to the Italian Outdoor Village. A new and concrete symbol of the meeting between Northern and Southern Europe, where international excellence in the sector will be able to come together in a single moment and space.

Another new feature of Prowinter 2026 will be the participation of numerous international brands that will exhibit directly from their headquarters, and no longer only through Italian distributors or retailers.

A reference point for professionals

This choice makes this fair a point of reference also for professionals from Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, the Benelux area and Eastern Europe who are interested in meeting company decision makers directly.

The other focus of this 25th edition will be sustainability. Fiera Bolzano, already EarthCheck Silver certified, continues on its path to becoming the most sustainable exhibition centre in Italy, integrating ESG principles into every stage of the event’s organisation. During Prowinter 2026, the Winter Sports Sustainability Network Meeting and the Ski Industry Climate Summit (hosted by Atomic) will be held, dedicated to the winter sports supply chain, where strategies and best practices for the future of the sector will be discussed.

In addition, the fourth Prowinter Award 2026 will introduce for the first time an external member of the jury dedicated to assessing the sustainability of products and production processes.

The “Small but High Quality” mission

‘With Prowinter 2026 www.prowinter.it, we want to strengthen Bolzano’s role as a European meeting point for the winter sports and outdoor industry,’ comments brand manager Geraldine Coccagna. We want to continue to grow with the aim of offering an efficient and high-quality experience, faithful to the values of sustainability and authenticity that distinguish our fair and the territory that hosts it.”

All this stems from the “Small but High Quality” philosophy, based on people, products and dialogue, capable of keeping the spirit of winter and the mountains alive. An idea that has transformed an event dedicated mainly to rental into a leading B2B event for the entire winter mountain supply chain, combining retail and rental in a single professional hub.
