The 47th Arredamont, the national exhibition of mountain furniture, will be held from October 25 to November 2 at Longarone Fiere Dolomiti. An event that has been returning every autumn for almost 50 years to the Venetian city, attended by the leading manufacturers in the field of custom-made furniture for mountain areas. On the one hand, there is tradition, and on the other, the innovation of a constantly changing sector. Among the sectors represented are: mountain home construction; artisan carpentry; flooring and wall coverings; fabrics; and heating systems.

47th Arredamont: an increasingly international event

This year, the renovated pavilions of the Longarone exhibition center will host 187 companies representing 235 brands, from eleven Italian regions and 13 countries, spread over an area of approximately 17,000 square meters. The exhibition center’s goal is to close this edition with 28,000 visitors.

The organizers are aiming for an increasingly international exhibition. Proof of this is the 100-square-meter stand of a new exhibitor arriving from Hungary, as Chiara Bortolas, representing Longarone Fiere Dolomiti, pointed out during the presentation conference. ” Once again, the 47th Arredamont proves to be the privileged showcase for SMEs in the mountain furniture sector, a mix of skilled craftsmen who know how to work with natural and precious materials with mastery, but also advanced equipment.” As always, collaboration with trade associations such as Appia CNA Belluno and Confartigianato Imprese Veneto is central, and they have also organized workshops and events for visitors.

47th Arredamont: training and culture at the heart of the exhibition

This year, the Confartigianato Imprese Veneto Artisan Village will be present, occupying 400 square meters with 13 companies, while Appia CNA Belluno will present a new version of the ‘L’artigiano in fiera’ (The Artisan at the Fair) project. Representatives from all categories of crafts will be on display: eyewear, mechanics, textiles, and 3D printers, to show all visitors the behind-the-scenes work of artisans.

The 47th Arredamont https://arredamont.it/ will also feature cultural events during the show. These include ‘Scie di gloria’ (Trails of Glory), a collection of winter sports equipment from the early 20th century to the present day, on display at the Congress Center on the first floor of Longarone Fiere. The exhibition features unique items autographed by athletes from the ‘valanga azzurra’ (blue avalanche) and leading names in skiing.

This edition continues the collaboration with Arte in Fiera Dolomiti, which enriches the exhibition with works by Italian and international artists, this year linked to ‘Woman in art’.
