Now in its eighth edition, the biennial Agrilevante October 2025, held from 9 to 12 October at the Bari exhibition centre, confirms its status as a comprehensive showcase of technologies dedicated to Mediterranean agriculture, while growing in importance as a cultural and political event.

Specialising in machinery, equipment and digital systems for agriculture, animal husbandry and green care, the exhibition, organised by FederUnacoma, which brings together agricultural machinery manufacturers, occupies all the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Bari exhibition centre.

There are over 5,000 models on display, from 330 manufacturers representing 14 countries, while visitors come from 40 countries.

Agrilevante October 2025: focus on innovation for agriculture in the Mediterranean area

The space reserved for institutions and associations, research and professional training is becoming increasingly important. ‘Technological innovation is the defining feature of this exhibition,’ said Simona Rapastella, general manager of FederUnacoma, ‘which showcases new products and ranges specifically designed for agriculture in southern Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.’

The Agrilevante/Machinery for Mediterranean Agriculture contest focuses precisely on the specific needs of these areas, with the “Agricultural Machinery Award” and the “Green Care Award”, where models with the most innovative technical solutions are on display.

Growing interest in the gardening sector

Outside, the Real space features robots specialised in vineyard care, while the real novelty is the area dedicated to demonstrations of green care equipment.

Together with the Levante Green Exhibition, this new area transforms Agrilevante October 2025 – https://www.agrilevante.eu/it/index.php into an event that is not only agricultural, but also aimed at the gardening sector, both professional and hobbyist.

Also in the outdoor area, there is space for a dynamic exhibition dedicated to bioenergy supply chains, in collaboration with Itabia, and the livestock area. Here, in the 10,000 m² tensile structure, there is an exhibition-show dedicated to breeding animals of prized breeds.

‘The mission of the event is therefore to propose technological innovation as a tool to substantially improve the productivity, quality and sustainability of agricultural production,’ said Rapastella. However, a quantum leap in Mediterranean agriculture is possible if these innovations are adapted to the production realities of the different areas of the basin, if they are supported by targeted policies, and if they are part of a context of technical and economic cooperation between countries that also includes education and vocational training.”
