After the 2024 edition in Bologna, this year the Asphaltica trade fair arrives at the Fiera del Levante in Bari with the special edition of Asphaltica World 2025, at the Fiera del Levante from 29 to 31 October.

Organised and promoted by Siteb – Strade Italiane e Bitumi and Bologna Fiere, the event will take on a new exhibition-conference format, exploring the major challenges facing the road sector with a focus on southern Italy.

Among the protagonists are the leading companies in the sector – such as Ammann Group, Wirtgen Group, Fayat Group, Mapei and SINA – at the centre of meetings, workshops and seminars on strategic issues for the future of road infrastructure.

A comprehensive programme of meetings with industry players

Asphaltica World 2025 aims to be a point of reference for companies, technicians, designers, public and private bodies and the academic world to promote innovation in technologies and solutions for the construction of increasingly safe, sustainable and efficient roads.

The programme will focus on a wide range of topics: from road safety to environmental and economic sustainability, from technological innovation to PNRR resources and new regulations. There will also be space for signage, safety barriers and waterproofing, pending the ministerial decree on shredded bituminous membranes.

Asphaltica World 2025: taking stock of the state of the art in the sector

The Italian asphalt sector is currently experiencing strong growth, with an estimated value of between €30 and €40 billion (equivalent to 1.4-1.8% of GDP). There are over 400 active plants and around 40,000 direct employees, rising to 500,000 if we look at the entire supply chain.

This event will be an opportunity to take stock of the state of the art in the sector, transforming Bari into the capital of road infrastructure for three days.

‘In recent years, significant progress has been made in the field of road maintenance, following past cuts linked to spending reviews and the stability pact,’ said Stefano Ravaioli, director of Siteb and president of the Asphaltica Committee. Environmental sustainability, CAM-Strade and AI are pushing the sector towards new frontiers with a rate of innovation that is unmatched in the construction world’.

Asphaltica World 2025: an opportunity to meet new targets

For Antonio Bruzzone, CEO of BolognaFiere, ‘bringing the event to the Fiera del Levante means attracting new players, promoting synergies and consolidating a network of relationships between industry, institutions and local areas. All this in a sector that has a direct impact on economic development and quality of life.’

The Bari edition represents a concrete opportunity to strengthen dialogue between industry, institutions and the local area, and confirms Asphaltica World 2025 – https://www.asphaltica.it/home/12987.html as the leading event in Europe for the entire road construction supply chain.

In 2026, the event will return to its traditional venue in Bologna, in the form of a full-scale international trade fair.
