From 13 to 16 October, Fiera Bolzano will host Hotel 2025, the trade fair that shines a spotlight on everything that is changing the world of hospitality and catering, with an eye to the future. This is a key event, with over 400 companies and around 19,000 visitors expected to attend, for those who want to be – or remain – at the forefront of this revolution that is profoundly transforming the image of the broad hospitality sector.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be meetings, workshops and opportunities for in-depth discussion between operators, companies and stakeholders. The aim is to network with industry experts and discover how new technologies – starting with artificial intelligence – together with an increasingly human and responsible approach, are revolutionising hospitality.
Hotel 2025: facing the challenges ahead
Because the north-east of Italy continues to be an important reference point for tourist accommodation in our country. This is demonstrated by the over-tourism figures for this summer.
With over 230,000 accommodation facilities, Italy is at the top of the global tourism rankings, and the Trentino-Alto Adige region alone welcomes well over 12% of national visitors.
While the figures are impressive, the challenges that the sector is facing and will face in the coming years are equally important and complex.
Hotel 2025 represents a concrete response to these changes. Examples include the growing demand for greater personalisation from customers, as well as the desire to offer unique experiences that involve the local area. The exhibition will provide answers to these and many other questions, including some that have never been asked before.
Visits to the most virtuous establishments in South Tyrol are back
This edition of Hotel 2025 is structured around four themes. One of these is the Value of People, which celebrates the value of the people who work in the establishments, not as “mere” employees but as facilitators of the experience enjoyed by guests. The theme of Innovation explains how technology can become the driving force for optimising services and developing sustainability. Robotics and cobotics solutions will be presented to enhance, rather than replace, the human element. Food & Drink reflects the focus on ethical and sustainable choices that guide kitchens and wine cellars. Finally, Architecture & Design aims to explore how sustainable design and responsible architecture are essential to creating spaces that meet the needs of well-being and functionality.
Among the events that characterise Hotel 2025 https://www.fierabolzano.it/it/hotel/home is the Hotel Sustainability Award, which recognises establishments and companies that stand out for their green and innovative practices. A showcase that celebrates the best sustainable projects in the world of hospitality and catering.
Hotel Tours are back, guided visits to the most virtuous establishments in the province, to see up close how sustainable hospitality translates into concrete actions, from eco-friendly choices to the integration of people in the hospitality process.
