Record numbers for the 30ª Autopromotec edition, May 21-24 at BolognaFiere. In fact, the international automotive equipment and aftermarket exhibition held every two years not only confirmed its centrality for the industry, but strengthened its role as a global reference hub for innovation, education and sustainability.

A total of 97,348 attendees were registered, with a 17 percent share of foreign professional operators from 130 countries (131 with Italy), reflecting the event’s increasingly international vocation. A fair that also stands out for the highest average daily attendance of professional operators at the European level, with 24,337 average attendees per day. The average daily attendance of the 2025 edition exceeded that of 2019, a record edition of the show, by 515.6 attendees per day.

That of the 30ª Autopromotec edition confirmed the growing attendance trend traced during the last events with many exhibitors already requesting to reconfirm and expand their spaces for the 2027 edition. A sign of the event’s effectiveness as a business and networking platform.

Awarded ISO 20121 certification for sustainable management.

A result also made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the event organizers, MAECI and ICE Agency, which brought to Bologna selected buyers from all over the world, organizing more than 850 B2B meetings, involving 146 representatives from at least 110 Italian exhibiting companies.

There were 1692 companies participating in the 30ª Autopromotec edition, including 61 brands represented, with a 45 percent share of foreigners from 46 countries, including Italy.

Among the most significant achievements of this edition was Promotec’s achievement of ISO 20121 certification, which attests to the sustainable management of the event.

Not only a showcase, but also a reference for the entire market

Technological innovation, access to data, sustainability and made in Italy were the central themes that ran through the entire event and the conference appointments that offered a look at the future of auto repair between ecological transition, digitalization and new skills.
