Fieracavalli 2024 edition is ready for its 126th edition at Fiera di Verona Nov. 7-10. More than 140,000 visitors are expected at the landmark event of the international equestrian scene, including enthusiasts, operators and athletes, who will be able to get close to the approximately 2,200 horses of 60 breeds housed in the 12 pavilions and 6 outdoor areas totaling more than 128,000 square meters. There will be 35 breeding associations, 700 exhibiting companies coming from 25 countries and more than 200 events scheduled, including competitions, shows and conferences.
Appointments for all tastes
For sports lovers, the event in fact offers a schedule of show jumping competitions. Starting in Hall 8, which will host the 23rd edition of Jumping Verona, the only Italian leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup. Also hosted here will be the finals of the Italian Champions Tour, the first traveling national team circuit, the Aces’ Cup Winter Edition. Also in this pavilion will be held the 126th Fieracavalli Grand Prix, a special event dedicated to the best promises of Italian Show Jumping.
At the FISE Arena (Hall 5), on the other hand, the best of the Italian youth sector is ready to compete, on the edge of seconds, in the various competitions scheduled.
To see the international champions prepare for the scheduled competitions, you can stop by Hall 7 of Fieracavalli 2024 edition with the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup test field.
From English riding we then move on to American riding with the Westernshow (Hall 12), which, for this edition, is tinged with pink thanks to Barrel Racing and Freestyle Reining competitions reserved exclusively for the Lady category. Finally, thanks to AIQH, Appaloosa, Paint and Quarter Horse enthusiasts will be able to attend morphology competitions. Reining introductory moments with Pietracavalla, the unmissable mechanical bull, and country dancing in the saloon, which comes to life during the Verona evenings, complete the pavilion program.
New animal welfare app
Safety and animal welfare remain, again this year, the main pillars of the event, which dedicates an interior pavilion to the Horse Friendly Arena (Hall 11). Here there will be three rings where you can see horses working in freedom, learn the best techniques of conscious horsemanship-thanks to the most important international schools-and discover all the professionals who ensure their well-being every day. Also on the subject of safety, Fieracavalli 2024 edition https://www.fieracavalli.it/it/ is launching its new app, open to all, for any reports of animal malaise and discomfort during the course of the show, so that it has “eyes” everywhere and is able to intervene promptly in difficult situations.
