The organization of TTG 2024 Travel Experience, which in 2024 will be held from October 9 to 11 at the Fiera di Rimini, Italy, is back on track.
The numbers of the previous edition recorded +19% attendance vs 2022, 26 pavilions, 20 Italian regions present and 55 foreign destinations, 2,700 brands in a 3 days of business, meetings and seminars with more than 200 events organized and over 250 speakers.
A reference event for the promotion of world tourism and which is preparing for the 2024 edition with an even richer offer.

Nautical tourism, a growing sector

This year the exhibition focus of TTG 2024 will be on nautical tourism, which complements the event’s exhibition offer on active and outdoor tourism. A constantly growing sector. Which in 2023 saw a 130 percent increase in bookings compared to 2022, as well as average spending by Italians, which registered +53 percent. A growth that is turning recreational boating into an important resource for the national tourism economy.
The categories involved range from nautical charters to cruises, from marinas to coastal parks and reserves, also involving skippers, recreational boat courses, diving, boat trips, and trade associations.

Becoming the world’s tourism marketplace

In 2023, the event expanded the markets it presided over for the first time as most of TTG’s contingent of foreign buyers specialize not only on the Italy product, but also on tourism destinations in neighboring destinations.
Last year, therefore, while maintaining sales leadership for domestic locations TTG 2024 launched TTG MED. With this section, the event opened up to the bargaining of destinations in the Mediterranean basin with business meetings designed to facilitate the meeting between the demand of buyers worldwide and the supply of sellers from the entire Mediterranean area, in addition to Italy.

Luxury Event by TTG 2024 returns and doubles

Building on its 2023 success, Luxury Event by TTG, dedicated to luxury travel held on the day before the opening of the expo, is back and doubling. In fact, the B2B workshop, held in Rimini on Oct. 8, will keep the 2023 formula with its one-to-one meetings, but buyers and sellers will double.
A development dictated by the continued growth of the high-end sector. This year, Italy emerges as the most popular destination for international luxury tourism, and luxury tourism generates 15 percent of the total turnover of the Italian hotel industry and 25 percent of total tourism spending.
Also back is InOut, TTG 2024 format specializing in hospitality supplies and contracting in Italy. Materials and surfaces, design of hotel rooms or glamping facilities, swimming pools and furnishing of bathing establishments, up to outdoor and green will be the protagonist sectors. Here the best companies will present their innovations to suggest designers and architects unprecedented solutions – structural, furniture and design – for hospitality.
