MIR 2024 edition growth for both companies and visitors

This 7th edition closed on a high note with exceptional attendance, surpassing previous expo figures, including pre-pandemic ones, putting up +20 percent in visitors and +25 percent in exhibitors.
With six pavilions and an extension on the SOUTH Hall of the exhibition grounds, this expo met the needs of companies and an increasingly attentive and qualified audience.
MIR 2024 edition confirmed its leading position in the industry by presenting the most interesting technological innovations in audio, video, lighting for concerts, shows, education, retail, museum, IT and hospitality.

Business areas are expanded

Added to all this was a showcase dedicated to System Integration AVC thanks in part to the well-established collaboration with SIEC – Systems Integration Experience Community. Contributing to this achievement was the organizers’ decision to also open up to technology brands aimed at business areas not only dedicated to the world of entertainment. In fact, this year MIR 2024 edition was joined by brands targeting professional and academic contexts with cutting-edge multimedia solutions.
One event that stood out for its professionalism, clarity and depth of topics covered was Light Design, with numerous sessions addressing different aspects of this industry.

Sold Out at Live You Play

In the pavilions dedicated to Live You Play, the frequency of performances exceeded expectations, with audio, video and light solutions presented in real live shows.
At MIR 2024 edition https://www.mirtechexpo.com/ the Immersive Rooms became a signature feature of the event: their 13 daily sessions were sold out.
The highlight of the event was the MIR Club, which hosted an unprecedented format. With more than 30 DJ consoles installed, hundreds of people were able to test products assisted by more than 10 tutors, for a total of more than 700 hours of pure scratching.

For the first time, Short clinics held by young DJ Youtuber Federico Doria also found space at the fair, allowing visitors to deepen and broaden their knowledge of DJ technology. Success also for the Demolition panel, an opportunity offered to new talents to confront themselves with the greatest Italian DJs.
The next edition of MIR – Live Entertainment Expo is scheduled for spring 2025.
