BikeUP 2024- Electric Bicycle Power Festival is the first international event dedicated to e-bikes, cycle tourism and light electric mobility, taking place April 12-14 in Bergamo and May 24-26 in Turin.
This year the event, which started in 2014 in Lecco, is celebrating its first decade. A double birthday because this edition will be staged both in the center of Bergamo and in Turin, along the Po River, between Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Corso Cairoli.

A winning format

In addition to expanding territorially, over time BikeUP 2024 has expanded and diversified its exhibitors, maintaining its focus on “green” micro-mobility.
In fact, this year’s edition will again host not only leading international e-bike manufacturers, but also operators of bicycle tourism-from tour operators to Apts and Atls, to territories-and electric mobility. Last year the festival had a record number of exhibitors, with 156 stands and 70,000 visitors over the 6 days.
Confirmed is the formula that has always characterized the event and made it a true festival: opportunities to try electric bikes. In Bergamo and Turin, the public can sign up free of charge for e-bike tours designed for different models (E-mtb Front and Full, e-bike corsa&gravel, trekking, cargo) to show the possibilities that only this type of medium can offer.

BikeUP 2024: not just e-bikes

The Bergamo stage will provide e-bike tours with the brands Ducati (with Futa e-road bikes), Specialized with full suspended Turbo Levo Comp Carbon e-mountain bikes also in SL versions and Coppi (folding fat bike and front mountain bike models). Thok will also organize guided tours with the new full models available on the market. There will also be the opportunity to sign up for urban tours ePowered by Bosch.
For the 2024 edition the fair will have, as an “experience partner,” the support of GIVI, a well-known brand in the world of motorcycling, present since 2021 with the new brand GIVI-Bike.
In addition, always for the Bergamo edition of BikeUP 2024 it will be possible to test the 100% electric Xev Yoyo microcars and cars from Volkswagen’s ID range. Volvo will also be present and it will be possible to test drive the EX30 model.
There will be no shortage of courses and workshops, located within the Banco BPM Kids Area dedicated to children with balance bikes to learn road safety education.
On the Piedmont stage, the conference, “Bike to work: benefits for companies and territory,” is scheduled for May 24. The objective is to present and illustrate the most current times of mobility management and to orient companies and public bodies to encourage a lowering of environmental impact and improve mobility. Space during the conference also for the presentation of start-ups with innovative projects on urban mobility.
