62th Salone del Mobile.Milano is preparing for the April 16-21 event in the spaces of Fieramilano Rho. Evolution and innovation will be the keywords of this 2024 edition, those that best define the main moment and reference point for the international design industry.
In fact, from being an exhibition event, the Salone is increasingly becoming a context for generating relevant relationships, narratives and projects all year round.

The 62th Salone del Mobile.Milano will address all contemporary challenges, with a focus on ecological transition.
Other novelties include the relaunch of the optimization of layouts and pathways of EuroCucina with FTK, Technology For the Kitchen and the Salone Internazionale del Bagno. And this thanks to the contribution of neuroscience, according to the human-at-the-center philosophy, and the renewed synergy with the Lombardini22 group, a leader in the Italian architecture and engineering scenario.

62th Salone del Mobile.Milano, an evolving event

The result is a route that sees a total redistribution of pavilions to group exhibitors by content and target visitors so as to amplify value and meaning of the visitor experience.
The loop route chosen for both biennials results in an intuitive, easy to navigate, easy to remember layout. While the exhibition offerings turn out to be significant along the entire route.
At the 62th Salone del Mobile.Milano, a symmetrical route was also organized by leaning the stands against the outer perimeter walls, the main paths were made wider to improve orientation. In addition, cultural installations and quiet areas were included against museum “fatigue,” which is also typical of this event. In particular, it will be necessary to walk 640 meters instead of the previous 1.2 kilometers to visit all the booths.

Some numbers

The events that make up the 62th Salone del Mobile.Milano will gather, in total, nearly 1,900 exhibitors, including 600 young talents under 35 and 22 design schools.
The Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Salone Internazionale del Complemento d’Arredo, Workplace3.0, S.Project, Salone internazionale del Bagno and SaloneSatellite, now in its 25th year, will return. There will be no shortage of conferences and round tables with international guests, vertical workshops on hot topics in design and educational meetings for young people.
Plus: immersive and interactive site-specific installations to learn about the state of the art of the industry or reflect on the physical and emotional value of interiors.

Offering a novel experience

“Capturing new trends, the evolution of an entire sector by involving and listening to communities near and far, identifying new approaches, methodologies and technologies, experimenting in an expression stand on the frontier. This is still the ambition of the 62th Salone del Mobile.Milano https://www.salonemilano.it/it e” as stated by Maria Porro, President of the Salone del Mobile.Milano during the presentation conference.
Neuroscience, artificial intelligence, new formats and paths, installations, talks: everything is designed to offer visitors and exhibitors an unprecedented experience in terms of content and container.
All this, Porro concludes is “impossible to replicate if not here, unthinkable to miss, even if it is not limited to a single week, but covers the whole year thanks to the propulsive and inclusive force of our digital platform.”
