Scheduled at the Pordenone Fairgrounds from March 2 to 10, Ortogiardino 2024 , an exhibition of floriculture, horticulture, and nursery gardening, returns. On the 25,000 square meters of exhibition area there will be 9 garden setups with tall plants, water features and designer outdoor furniture. The displays will alternate with about 200 booths curated by nurseries, floriculturists, retailers of bulbs and seeds, fertilizers, gardening equipment, and outdoor furniture, ready to satisfy visitors’ desire for green shopping.
Gardening and horticulture enthusiasts are the visitors who will traditionally flock to Ortogiardino 2024. They will be joined by gourmets in search of excellent products and recipes.
In fact, the new pavilions 5bis and 5ter will host the event Cucinare, dedicated to quality food and wine that will bring more than 80 exhibitors with products of excellence from local and national food supply chains to the 3,000 square meters covered area of the fairgrounds.
Two areas that will offer small producers and niche artisans an opportunity to participate in the event and make themselves known to the general public:

A rich schedule of events

The theme of Ortogiardino 2024 is “Beyond the Gaze – Artist’s Inspiration'”. Designers were asked to create a novel work of art by being inspired by nature.
Out of the many projects that came to the technical committee, 9 were selected, which were then realized inside the pavilions to be both admired and voted on by insiders and the public.
The success of Ortogiardino 2024 www.ortogiardinopordenone.it is also linked to the program of side events, which this year also includes the Cooking show. Here space will also be given to “Io sono FVG,” organized by Promoturismo and featuring companies that stand out for their attention to sustainability and the regional origin of their agri-food products. “Pordenone With Love,” on the other hand, will host companies associated with Confcooperative and Unione Artigiani di Pordenone with niche products revolving around the world of cooking and catering and more than 30 events including show cooking, wine and beer tastings, masterclasses

Ortogiardino 2024: historic orchid market exhibition returns.

Two meetings in collaboration with Pordenonelegge Foundation. On Saturday, March 2, third-generation miller, baker and well-known TV face Fulvio Marino will present the book “Dulcis in forno. Sweet, flaky, brioche and other baked breads and focaccias,” interviewed by Valentina Gasparet. On Saturday, March 9, Chef Davide Nanni will instead confront Gabriele Giuga on the topics addressed in his book “A Sentimento. My free, sincere, wild cooking.”
At Ortogiardino 2024, orchids, on the other hand, will be the protagonist of the historic market exhibition in Hall 5 Pordenone Orchidea now in its 24th edition. More than 150 different varieties from private collections or professional growers make up one of Italy’s largest market exhibitions.
