From Saturday, February 10 to Monday, February 12, the 17th Immagine Italia & Co. will be held at Fortezza da Basso in Florence. More than 180 collections for fall/winter 2024/2025 will be featured at the international show dedicated to the underwear and lingerie sector, 42 percent of which will come from abroad, representing a broad and comprehensive overview for domestic and international buyers.
Collaboration and sharing to win
The event’s president, Alessandro Legnaioli, recalled how in recent years attention and energy have been devoted to implementing structures, proposals and services. A commitment to have events in Italy that represent internationally the widest and most complete choice of quality dedicated to the lingerie and beachwear sector. A process that has been possible “thanks to the commitment of our team, to new professional figures, but also by activating and strengthening collaborations and sharing experiences and visions with the most important players. I emphasize here the important support of Agenzia Ice thanks to which important international buyers are expected at 17th Immagine Italia & Co. Also important is the collaboration with a selection of trade-magazines including those of Intima Group and Cyl magazine, mediapartners of the show.”
New exhibitors and returns to the fair
These last editions have seen returns and new entries. There will be more than 50 brands this year, including hosiery companies, which with their proposals, including more transversal ones, are debuting or returning after years, renewing their interest in the Florentine event.
Also present at 17th Immagine Italia & Co. for the first time is Italian Lingerie Export (ILE), which promotes the culture of beauty and typically Italian savoire-faire through the collections of its associates. In the Italian Lingerie Area it will be possible to touch with one’s own hands all the uniqueness, style and charm of Italian collections known all over the world. The area will host two networking happenings on November 10 and 11 under the banner of quality and taste with tastings of products from two Italian territories, Piedmont and Apulia.
Attention to sustainability
Said Alessandro Legnaioli again, “the 17th Immagine Italia & Co. is confirmed as a sustainable fair, certified ISO 20121, demonstrating that the fair and related activities have been thought out and managed in a sustainable way. Not only that, with this event has also been undertaken the path that will lead the events to be “carbon neutral” with reduction of carbon emissions and the offsetting of these emissions by participating in certified international projects. An attractive green area will be available for visitors to discover the latest innovations from the virtuous production chain.”
Also with a view to service, 17th Immagine Italia & Co. https://immagineitalia.underbeach.eu/, is hosting for the first time a selection of companies active in luxury packaging connected to the Easyfairs show, an absolute reference in packaging industry events.
The aim of this collaboration is to provide brands and buyers with a glimpse of the most important packaging companies whose work manages to ennoble that of brands.
The concomitance with Firenze Home Texstyle, on the other hand, is the right opportunity to create a link between textile compartments thanks to the Fabric Sound space where talks, conferences, workshops and meetings with distinguished guests from the home decor, architecture and Italian textile-related entrepreneurship sectors will be held.
