After a successful 2023 edition-in Bologna from November 25 to 27-FIVI and BolognaFiere have announced that the next Edition Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti will take place from Saturday, November 23 to Monday, November 25.

If expectations were high for edition number 12-and first at BolognaFiere-the numbers recorded were equally satisfying.
More than 980 Vine growers attended and more than 26 thousand entries distributed during the three-day event, two associations of foreign Vine growers and 29 olive growers adhering to the Italian Federation of Independent Olive Growers. Entity that has already confirmed participation also in the 2024 edition of Edition Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti , renewing a strategic alliance between agricultural producers.

An event that satisfies all targets

“After this first edition in Bologna of the Edition Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti,” commented Lorenzo Cesconi, president of FIVI, “our commitment is dedicated to creating a 2024 Wine Market that will live up to the expectations of everyone: winemakers and winegrowers, enthusiasts, and operators. We have learned a lot and know what needs to be fine-tuned and improved. For FIVI, the event is a kind of concrete manifesto of our associational values and goals. And that is why we treat it with care and passion. The same with which we work our vineyards and produce our wines. And this is what makes it unique among the many Italian wine events.”

Positive involvement of the city

Regarding BolognaFiere, said Director of Direct Exhibitions, Domenico Lunghi: “The debut in Bologna of the Edition Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti was positive. Although we were only able to announce in the spring, with only a few months’ notice, that the event would move to Bologna, we encountered enthusiastic support for the new project from exhibitors, who also helped us invite many of their qualified customers to the fair. Visitors, in addition to appreciating the offerings of the wineries and oil producers present, expressed favorable feedback on the context in which the event was organized. The success of this first Bolognese edition of Edition Mercato dei Vini dei Vignaioli Indipendenti https://mercatodeivini.it/ was, moreover, sanctioned by the participation of the public in the “off” initiatives we promoted in the city of Bologna, together with Confcommercio Ascom and AMO. We can say that the FIVI Market, its wineries and values have been welcomed with momentum by the entire community. The collaboration initiated with FIVI and Edition Mercato dei Vini is only just beginning, but the event has already carved out a central role for itself in the articulated calendar of events that BolognaFiere, a unique case in Italy, makes available to the food and beverage sector, thus representing ever more clearly the leading exhibition hub for food and beverage catering.”
