Scheduled for Nov. 24-26 at fieramilano Rho, the 30a Milan Games Week & Cartoomics edition will aim to bring together all arts and forms of expression in a single multidisciplinary event. An event that will create a space where visitors can find the best of their passions.
The event, designed on Generation Z, is able to put side by side the most important Italian event of the last decade dedicated to gaming, eSports, digital entertainment and geek culture with the historic event that has celebrated the world of comics, manga and publishing for over 30 years.
Highlights of the 30a Milan Games Week & Cartoomics include the first edition of the Fantasticon Film Fest, dedicated to anime, fantasy and horror cinema. An event that will feature 14 screenings and many guests. Such as the Manetti Bros. who will premiere “Diabolik Chi Sei?”, and Dario Argento, who will receive the Legend Award.
A renewed trade fair architecture
The program of the 30a Milan Games Week & Cartoomics will consist of panels, concerts, demonstrations, previews and tournaments. Activities that will follow each other during the three days, distributed this year in pavilions 9, 11, 13 and 15 of the fairgrounds, which add 8000 square meters of area to the 2022 edition.In this new distribution of spaces, pavilions 11, 13 and 15 will be elected as the gaming capital thanks not only to the many exhibitors, but also to the Freeplay Area powered by Euronics.
At 30a Milan Games Week & Cartoomics , in fact, will be as many as 120 stations between consoles and PCs will be made available to all visitors to allow them to try the latest Xbox Series X|S and the Xbox Game Pass service with Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Party Animals, Fallout 76, Jusant, GothamKnights, Lies of P and Age of Empires 4 and PlayStation5 with the brand new Spider-Man 2.
Between video games, the spotlight will also shine on virtual worlds, where guest of honor will be Alessandro Del Piero, who at The Nemesis booth, will showcase the project celebrating his career using cutting-edge technology.
Alongside the video games of the moment, the best content creators will take the stage in the Creators World area, a space where the most famous Italian personalities of the digital universe will welcome their fans with panels, meet & greet and gaming sessions to get together, have fun and interact directly with their idols.
Media House debuts
Another new feature at this year’s 30a Milan Games Week & Cartoomics https://www.milangamesweek.it/, among the many already announced, is the Media House located in the heart of Hall 15. The facility will provide space for short meetings with the event’s guests, led by Antonella Arpa in art Himorta and Chiara Papalia known to fans as Kodomo. Each interview will represent an exclusive moment to meet up close with the many personalities present at the event and experience a moment of sharing with the creative world that animates it.
