Slow Wine Fair 2024, organized by BolognaFiere and Sana, with the artistic direction of Slow Food, will return to Bologna from 25 to 27 February 2024.

The numbers of the 2023 edition

Last February’s edition recorded over 10,000 entries and an important presence of sector operators, including several hundred buyers from abroad. Numbers which, added to the over 750 wineries (+50% compared to the first edition) arriving from 20 countries, the 4,000 labels on the tasting counter and the large participation of producers in the 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, demonstrate the interest in wine comparisons according to Slow Food.
That is, a product that is not only good to drink, but which represents values such as the protection of biodiversity, the defense of the agricultural landscape and the protection of resources. A wine that, at the same time, affirms the importance of spreading the culture – and not the fashion – of wine around the cellars. An authentic wine, a reflection of the reference territory, without sophistication and compromise.

More than 400 exhibitors already selected

At the center of Slow Wine Fair 2024: the theme of soil fertility and its importance, from an agricultural point of view but not only.
The Masterclasses have been confirmed, the guided tastings aimed at enthusiasts and professionals in the sector, and dedicated to exploring the Italian and international wine panorama and the fascinating world of bitters.
If, in just two years, Slow Wine Fair 2024 https://slowinefair.slowfood.it/it/ has established itself as one of the most relevant fairs on the national and international scene, the credit certainly also goes to the exhibitors, whose selection begins seven months before the official start of the event thanks to the work of a special commission including Italian and foreign experts. To date, there are already more than 400 confirmed exhibitors, with particular attention to those who produce organically and biodynamically.
Among the producers who have already confirmed their presence, we have representatives from the classic territories, such as Austria, France, Germany and Spain, and from those still to be explored, such as Argentina and Chile, Georgia and Turkey, as well as Australia and China.
