Sicurezza Milano 2023 is ready to reopen its doors from 15 to 17 November at Fiera Milano. A fair that promises to repeat or better yet improve the numbers of the last edition, which saw 20,542 operators from 69 countries (together with Smart Building Expo).
At the moment, numerous companies have confirmed their participation and it is in continuous discussions with them and the sector associations that the focuses of the 2023 project are being outlined. Once again the event is preparing to give space to all the souls of the sector and to delve deeper into current trends: digitalisation, integrated systems and customized solutions, but also new skills and professionalism.
There are also many leading brands registered for Sicurezza Milano 2023, representing all sectors. A confirmation in the format characterized in particular by attention to technological innovation and integrated and intelligent solutions, which is therefore already confirmed today as highly representative of a market that continues to experience a phase of profound change and evolution.

A growing market

According to analyzes by Anie Sicurezza, in 2021 the Building Security and Automation sector repositioned itself on a growth path in aggregate turnover after the substantial stability recorded during 2020, mainly due to the pandemic.
The recovery in recent years is mainly driven by fire prevention (+12.8%) and video surveillance (+18.2%). The latter sector was also growing in the year of the pandemic, when demand was driven by the request for safety technologies to support the health emergency.
Both the domestic market was positive (+13%), thanks also to the boost from investments in construction, and the export front (+11%), thanks to the recovery of exports to the European Union markets (+20.4%) , North America (+11.3%) and East Asia (+40.8%).
Thanks to the resumption of international mobility, the Sicurezza Milano 2023 roadshow has also started, which will allow European professionals to talk about the project and its protagonists. After the first stop in the United Kingdom, the tour covered Germany, France and Dubai, meeting companies and operators. The objective is to continue internationalization, which sees this event among the reference events, especially in Europe and the Mediterranean basin.

Trade fair synergies continue

With the aim of multiplying business and networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors, Sicurezza Milano 2023 confirms and strengthens synergies with other events, which can be visited at the same time and with the same entry ticket.
In fact, on the same days at Fiera Milano, the Smart Building Expo will be held, dedicated to home and building automation and technological integration; ME-MADE Expo, which will however take place over four days (from 15 to 18 November) and GEE – Global Elevator Exhibition, a new exhibition event dedicated to horizontal and vertical mobility.
