Marmomac 2023 returns to Veronafiere from 26 to 29 September. At its 57th edition, the main world fair dedicated to the entire natural stone supply chain – from the quarry to the processed product, from technologies and machinery to tools – confirms itself as an international hub for the sector’s protagonists. A platform where business and professional training meet, becoming a place dedicated to business and innovation.
Marmomac 2023: an expanded offer
In 2022 the show saw over 1,200 exhibiting companies and was visited by 47 thousand professional operators, of which 63% arrived from 132 countries. Participating in the event means learning about the latest market trends, meeting an audience of customers, partners, distributors, contractors, architects and interior designers from all over the world.
An element also remembered by Raul Barbieri, commercial director of the fair: “In addition to its highly international profile, one of the reasons for its success is the choice to combine business with product culture, recognized as a universal added value for every Made in Italy production . For this reason, Veronafiere, as organizer of the event, has decided to focus on this unique and non-reproducible competitive advantage, even in the marble system. For the 2023 edition, the event will therefore further increase the segment linked to design solutions, connected to the world of furniture, including and above all luxury and contract”.
Marmomac 2023: an ad hoc schedule for pavilion 10
With this objective, the cradle of this year’s experimentation will be pavilion 10, where design, architecture and stone culture will meet business through exhibitions and a packed schedule of appointments, workshops and talks in the Forum area.
The dominant theme is the relationship between natural stone and machines, in a dialogue between design and art, as also summarized in the new image of the countryside. The entire space will develop as a square-based district, whose main axes intersect, giving life to The Applaud. The idea of this project, curated by Giorgio Canale, is to enhance the process of creating a work, celebrating the the contribution of the latest generation machines, the most modern technologies and man to natural stone.
Academic training is entrusted to Giuseppe Fallacara who for the 2023 edition of “Marmomac meets Academies” will involve Italian and foreign universities and research centers.
New partnership with Elle Decor
Counteracting pavilion 10 of Marmomac 2023 https://www.marmomac.com/, in the opposite position, is pavilion 1, which this year is transformed into “A matter of Stone”, designed in concept by Elle Decor with layout by the Calvi Brambilla studio. It is a commercial pavilion where companies will exhibit design projects and products, creating a creative space designed for architects, interior designers and professionals called upon to decide on the use of materials in construction and furnishings. Here they will be able to find inspiration and applications that show the great potential of the lithic sector.
