The Made in Italy design excellences are on display in the FIND 2023 edition – Design Fair Asia, the Asian reference event for the design and furniture sector held from 20 to 23 September at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore. Organized by Fiera Milano in joint venture with Dmg Events, the event presents the latest innovations in contemporary design, addressing a target of architects, interior designers, retailers and opinion leaders arriving from all over the world.
Singapore is a true design hub in Asia. The Asian design market offers interesting prospects for global furniture brands, with a +8.35% expected by 2027, reaching $248.90 billion in the South-East Asian furniture sector. The interior design services industry in Apac (Asia Pacific) offers equally impressive opportunities, with an estimated value of $35.3 billion by 2027.
Over 300 reference brands present at FIND 2023 – Design Fair Asia Singapore, without forgetting the 50 international speakers and a large presence of young emerging talents. In fact, the event represents an opportunity for exchange between the world of Western and Eastern design and an opportunity for Italian companies to export to the Asean area.
This second edition is proposed as a meeting place capable of inspiring the reference community and, as happened in 2022, it confirms itself as the key event in the schedule of the Singapore Design Week, one of the main events in Southeast Asia dedicated to the world of design.
FIND 2023 – Design Fair Asia: partnerships reconfirmed
The multidisciplinary studio Stefano Boeri Interiors has also designed an area entirely dedicated to Italian companies for this edition.
“The Italian Design Futures Capsule” hosts the excellence of Italian design and furniture, demonstrating the creativity and craftsmanship typical of Italian “know-how”. Design experts and enthusiasts will find more than 40 Italian brands inside the capsule.
The collaboration with Interni Magazine has also been renewed with the aim of enhancing knowledge of design by offering, during the 4 days, opportunities for dialogue and debate on the topics of product and interior design with international designers, architects and opinion leaders.
A journey through the history of made in Italy design
At FIND 2023 – Design Fair Asia https://www.designfairasia.com/ is also “Italia Geniale”, a collection created by ADI Design Museum and ADI – Association for Industrial Design in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Singapore and the support of the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On display are the most significant materials, objects and artefacts of the icons of Italian design that speak of imagination, work, well-being and relationships between people.
Previewed at Expo2020 in Dubai with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after Rome, Bangkok, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Italia Geniale arrives in Singapore and guides visitors on a journey through history, masterpieces and the most innovative.
