The 14th edition of the Salone del Camper ed 2023 was inaugurated on September 9th with the ribbon cutting, which will end on the 17th in the Fiere di Parma spaces. The trade fair event is organized in collaboration with APC, the Caravan and Camper Manufacturers Association, and once again in this edition it confirms itself as an event of great attraction for those who are passionate about these recreational vehicles. The show is in fact the main Italian fair and the second internationally dedicated to open air tourism and traveling holidays.

Deseasonalize and promote tourism

For Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, the 2023 Camper Show is much more than a simple exhibition of recreational vehicles, which also represent the level of technological evolution that the manufacturers of this sector have reached. “It is the celebration of a rejuvenating, sustainable and unrestricted holiday, highlighting a form of experiential tourism that is constantly growing in popularity. The camper, in fact, does not just represent a means of travelling, but an authentic lifestyle, the luxury of moving in freedom, autonomy and safety”.

During the inauguration conference, Ludovica Sanpaolesi, general director of APC, also highlighted how “holidays in campers and caravans are eco-sustainable, deseasonalizes and promotes tourism even in small municipalities, generating turnover for local companies: from restaurants to products food and wine and craftsmanship”.
