Now in its 124th edition, Mipel September 2023 is preparing to open the doors of the Fieramilano Rho spaces from 17 to 20 September. A key international event dedicated to the world of leather goods and fashion accessories, it is promoted and organized by Assopellettieri, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, and patronage of the Municipality of Milan.
A point of reference for sector operators, Mipel September 2023 will offer a complete vision of the upcoming spring/summer 2024 collections of over 200 brands selected from historic brands and emerging companies, both national and international.
Bags and accessories together with the latest trends in the world of leather goods will be the protagonists of the event between pavilions 1 and 3, with a further area dedicated to overseas companies in pavilion 7.
Business opportunity and comparison
The creative concept and leitmotif of the entire event will be the “kaleidoscope”, which in its variations of shapes, combinations and colors will characterize all the spaces of Fieramilano.

The preview of “Travel&Business”
Among the main novelties of this September, the Showcase Milano area curated by Mirta, a digital showroom that connects local contemporary brands with international curators, hosted in Pavilion 3 of Mipel September 2023. Objective: to further expand the offer present at the fair, the space will be reserved exclusively for Italian fashion and design brands selected on the basis of distinctive criteria such as creativity, innovation and research.
Also worth mentioning is the preview of the “Travel&Business” project, a new segment of the event which will be the protagonist of the next and 125th edition (February 2024). Acting as ambassador in this preview is the historic Italian luggage brand Bric’S.
Also this year, pay attention to the Trend area (Pavilion 3), a space where you can learn about the latest SS2024 leather goods trends, selected by the Fashion Committee of Mipel September 2023 https://mipel.com/.
Precisely in this area, from 17 to 19 September between mid-morning and mid-afternoon, convivial and networking moments will be held accompanied by music and aperitifs.
Assopellettieri will once again be a protagonist with Mipel Lab, a trade fair format dedicated to the main excellent producers of Italian leather goods. Designed in collaboration with Lineapelle, the format will share its spaces from 19 to 21 September inside Pavilion 9 also at Fieramilano-Rho.
The partnership with Impersive continues for this edition too, allowing visitors to experience, thanks to the use of the “oculus”, an extraordinary immersive journey into the production of Italian leather goods.
