Scheduled from 25 to 27 November in the new spaces of BolognaFiere, the 12th Independent Winemakers’ Wine Market is the only event in Italy organized by Winemakers for Winemakers and for those who love their wines.
A thousand exhibitors arriving from every Italian region will welcome visitors in pavilions 29 and 30. To complete the 12th edition, in addition to the winemakers who are members of Fivi – Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers, a group of independent olive growers who are members of Fioi and some delegations of European winemakers representing the national associations belonging to Cevi – Confédération Européenne des Vignerons Indépendants.
12th Independent Winemakers Wine Market: a new location
“The move to Bologna, to large, new and bright pavilions, has allowed us not only to give space to all the members who have requested to participate in this great associative event, but also to make many improvements, to guarantee the public the event at its best, keeping its original spirit unchanged”, underlined Lorenzo Cesconi, winemaker and president of Fivi
To host exhibitors and the public, BolognaFiere has made 30,000 square meters available, distributed across 4 pavilions. In addition to 29 and 30, also pavilions 28 and 36 dedicated to food and services related to the Market.
The continuity of the 12th Independent Winemakers’ Wine Market with the past emerges from the entrance ticket prices, unchanged compared to the last edition and already available for purchase in advance on the site. A novelty is represented by the Early Bird special for 20 euros, available online until 24 September.
To make it easier for those who purchase tickets online, there will also be a dedicated entrance (North Entrance), while the cash desks to buy tickets directly at the fair will be open at the Michelino East Entrance.
The three days not to be missed
As has become tradition, at the 12th Independent Winemakers Wine Market www.mercatodeivini.it there will be an entire pavilion dedicated to gastronomy, with proposals from the local tradition and from other Italian territories. In the central gallery there will be space for the partners and sponsors of the Wine Market, as well as the inevitable Fivi institutional stand, where it will be possible to purchase t-shirts and other gadgets by independent winemakers.
During the 12th Independent Winemakers Wine Market which will open its gates on November 25th at 11am until 5pm on Monday 27th, four masterclasses will take place which will enrich the programme.
The masterclasses will be dedicated to equally important native vines and can be booked on the site starting from October. Furthermore, on the occasion of the Market, the winners of the 2023 “Leonildo Pieropan” Award, dedicated to the memory of one of Fivi’s pioneers, and of the new “Winemaker like us” award will be announced.
