Plast ed.2023: the green economy will be a transversal theme in the plastic and rubber industry market. A topic that generates innovation, the search for new production paradigms with an eye to reducing emissions and protecting the environment.
Calculate your carbon footprint
An attention to sustainability that not only guides the sector and the event, but which provides exhibitors with a service dedicated to calculating their “Organization Carbon Footprint”. FieraMilano has in fact long been committed to a constant path of reducing the environmental impact and CO2 emissions generated by events through the control of logistics operations, correct waste management and a sustainable catering offer, in accordance with a philosophy that Plast ed.2023 has also adopted it and extended it to its exhibitors. For this reason, at Plast ed.2023, Amaplast, which brings together the manufacturers of machines and molds for plastic and rubber materials, with Ambiente Consulenza & Engineering, supports and accompanies the exhibiting companies interested in the calculation of the Carbon Footprint according to the parameters identified by the IPCC ( Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), which operates under the aegis of the United Nations by applying internationally recognized protocols (GHG Protocol and ISO 14064). The Carbon Footprint is in fact the most immediate and universally accepted method for communicating and representing the environmental impact of an organisation. A path that the association has also undertaken for its internal operations with the aim of communicating the first results during the 2023 edition of the fair.
Space for 3D technology
Approximately 1,300 exhibitors will be present at Plast ed.2023, while official delegations of buyers arriving from 34 countries are expected. Pre-registrations are also open for professional operators who want to interact with a specialized offer and transversal responses to their needs in terms of products, technology, solutions and business. The event will be an opportunity to “touch” the technological proposals most innovative products aimed at the plastic and rubber industry market. Among the proposals linked to the offer of satellite salons, mention should be made of 3D Plast, a space dedicated to the additive manufacturing of polymeric materials, rapid prototyping, modeling software, 3D printing and similar technologies. The satellite exhibition at Plast ed.2023 http://www.plastonline.org is structured into two sections, on one side an island dedicated to conference activities focused on 3D printing and rapid prototyping, on the other a real demonstration area where you can experiment with the innovative technologies on display. Like a sui generis 3D printing solution, i.e. an extruder mounted on an anthropomorphic robot, aimed at creating a bicycle. An experimental project that winks at contemporary lifestyle, light mobility and sustainability, current themes such as, more generally, electric mobility.
