Sustainable innovation in all its facets is back in the spotlight with HostMilano 2023, which will take place at fieramilano Rho from 13 to 17 October. The event of global importance dedicated in particular to professional hospitality, away from home and retail.
To date (July 20, ed) there are 1,826 registered exhibitors, of which 40% are international from 50 countries. The United States is among the most represented non-European areas alongside the traditional presence of European producers. In particular, as well as from Italy arriving from Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. To these European countries are added Türkiye and China.
Italian and international exhibitors at HostMilano 2023 who, in addition to thousands of professional operators from all over the world, will meet buyers selected and profiled directly by Fiera Milano and coming from 63 countries. Well represented Canada, the USA, Central and South America and the Gulf countries with the return of Asian countries. A work of identification and selection, made even more incisive this year thanks to the constant collaboration with the ITA/ICE Agency.

HostMilano 2023: the centrality of made in Italy products

A liveliness that reflects the increasingly positive trend of professional hospitality, from consumption outside the home, close to reaching new records, to those relating to the production of machinery and technology for professional kitchens and laboratories.
A confirmation comes from a research by Future Market Insights. The report estimates that, for food service equipment alone, the value of the global market this year will touch 44 billion dollars, up to 76 billion in 2032 thanks to an average increase of 5.6%.
As for Italy, according to the Anima-Assofoodtec Research Office, made in Italy food service equipment closed 2022 at 4.56 billion euros, equal to +4.5%. Data that confirm the centrality of the Italian product, which alone represents as much as 10% of the entire world food service equipment market.

A fair that enhances the affinities of the supply chain

The exhibition format of HostMilano 2023 https://host.fieramilano.it/ combines a complete overview of all professional hospitality with vertical insights into individual sectors, in a layout that includes the three macro-areas of Professional Catering-Bakery, Pizza and Pasta; Coffee-Tea, Bar-Coffee Machines-Vending, Ice Cream-Pastry; Furniture-Technology and Tableware.

In particular, the sectors relating to bars and cafés make up the historic SIC – Salone Internazionale del Caffè event where all the Italian and foreign companies in the supply chain are present. From raw coffee to roasting to alternative extraction methods up to the machines for the transformation of the finished product.
HostMilano 2023 will also return the Smart Label, the recognition of sustainable innovation, organized in collaboration with POLI.design and sponsored by ADI.
