From 10 to 12 October Fiera Roma will transform itself into a hub of sustainable development thanks to the simultaneity of Zeroemission Mediterranean 2023 and Blue Planet Economy Expoforum
At the center there will be green electricity, zero-emission mobility, the blue economy, innovations, development and all-round sustainable technologies.

Two international appointments

During the three days and in the same pavilions, the international event Zeroemission Mediterranean 2023 will focus on technologies for the production and distribution of electricity from renewable sources.
While Blue Planet Economy Expoforum, now in its third edition, will also explore all the prospects of the blue economy from a business perspective, with particular reference to the Euro-Mediterranean area.

The first event, considered a point of reference for the sector, represents the Italian and Southern European route to the zero-emission electricity and electric mobility industry. Thanks to the synergy of the industries and sectors involved in the event, the visitor will have a complete overview of all the innovations in the sector: plants, materials, machines, technologies, innovative products and services.
The initiative dedicated to the blue economy instead turns the spotlight on innovation and sustainable development in this sector. At the heart of Zeroemission Mediterranean 2023 will be the challenge of the ecological transition for the Mediterranean, made up of sustainable development, regeneration and the contribution of the younger generations.
Three days of conferences, business meetings, insights and presentations – with the active involvement of researchers, innovators, students, national and international institutions – to review innovative projects, policies and strategies in the production sectors that impact the marine and coastal economy . We will go from energy sources to transport and logistics, to marine biological resources, to coastal tourist systems and to the essential protection of the entire marine resource.
Organizational partners of the initiative are Cluster Blue Italian Growth, Enea, OGS, Unindustria, Westmed and Associazione Mar.

Focus on green potential

“This coexistence between Zeroemission Mediterranean 2023 and Blue Planet Economy Expoforum  – comment the organizers – represents an important synergy, both in terms of content and reality on display. Together, these two events represent a truly 360-degree appointment on the green potential of industry and for industry. An essential reference for stakeholders, with a view to finding a sustainable path – both from an environmental and an economic point of view – to development.
Participants will be able to keep up to date on all the most interesting news and discuss with leading institutional, academic and industrial experts of the green economy, for an exchange of practical and theoretical knowledge and innovative ideas, with the aim of finding concrete solutions, useful for individuals but also to the country system as a whole”.
