DemoGreen 2023 will be a major event dedicated to urban greenery, which will take place in San Donato Milanese (Mi) from 28 to 29 September in the setting of the Parco dei Conigli. This is the only trade fair with free admission that allows green professionals to test equipment and work tools from the best brands for the maintenance of parks and gardens.
On display in the stands of around 50 companies are small tractors, lawnmowers, ride-ons, brushcutters and any other type of machine and equipment for gardening and green care. There will also be many demonstration trials that will be held on an area of 100 thousand square meters, aimed at an audience made up of green designers, gardeners, maintenance workers, municipal operators, as well as enthusiasts and hobbyists.
More technology
DemoGreen 2023, organized under the patronage of the Municipality of San Donato and in collaboration with Assoverde, Confagricoltura, Comagarden and Kepos, will showcase the most advanced and most functional models for sustainable management of parks, sports facilities and public green spaces and private.
Electric and low environmental impact vehicles, planting of trees and plant species suitable for climate change, sowing of meadows with weeds to reduce water requirements and a totally “carbon free” balance. Because the greenery amply compensates for the emissions produced by vehicles and exhibition structures during the event. All this underlines the ecological spirit of the event and its main objective: to bring the highest standards in terms of planning, technology and management to the gardening sector.
Training on new green topics
At DemoGreen 2023 https://demogreen.it/ there will be a program of conferences and meetings, which already includes the event signed by Confagricoltura on the first day, with the intervention of Planta Regina, aimed in particular at municipal administrations and dedicated to new procurement code, to crop production contracts and plant species more suited to climate change.
On the second day, a meeting is also scheduled, promoted by Assoverde, centered on the setting and application of the new price list for gardening and maintenance activities.
Finally, on 30 September, the event focused on the “Green White Paper”, where the management of health parks starts, organized by Kepos. Other initiatives of a technical and popular nature are being defined.
The participation of Asproflor, the association that promotes the Comuni Fioriti prize, and which aims to develop synergies between small and large municipalities, organizations of gardening professionals and manufacturers of mechanical means, was significant.
