Maredamare 2023 edition, is preparing to open its doors in Florence from 22 to 24 July. The international beachwear show will unveil a preview of the four key themes that will characterize summer 2024.
The stylistic directions have been developed with an important forecasting work shared with the leading brands of this edition.
Fashion & function
Sporty, retro, luminescent and artistic – this is how the swimsuit will look. A garment that is increasingly proposed as a privileged communication tool as well as containing energy and joie de vivre by vocation. Increasingly important and distinctive is the use of technological fabrics, capable of combining fashion and function, fashion & function, which always guarantee excellent wearability and durability over time, even in contact with chlorine and sunscreens.
The surfaces are increasingly hi-tech, three-dimensional, they light up with light, hosting prints that are works of art.

Furthermore, in the Trends Area of the salon, again on the basis of the summer 2024 themes, a selection of garments curated in collaboration with Linea Intima – INTIMAGroup will be proposed.
Maredamare 2023 edition: what we will wear
Sporty 90’S Fashion and function. The energy and exuberance of crossover items between beachwear and surfwear, revisited with the most modern technologies. With cuts that highlight the silhouette and pop colors for a look that winks at the Californian beaches.
Retro Reboot. A proposal that looks to the beachwear classics with a focus on wearability and comfort without neglecting the contemporary. A research that starts from the 50s to the 80s updated in an inclusive and never stereotyped mood.
Sparkly Suits. That is, costumes that light up with the sun, also created for social occasions after the beach. Lurex inflames the bases, the applications mark the movements for a proposal that is both ironic and elegant.
Artwork Affair. Artistic graphics, never predictable that cut the surfaces and determine their movements. Swimwear like true works of art where postmodernism and pop live by contaminating each other in an organic and refined semiotic.
