The Agrilevante 2023 edition, which will be staged at the Bari trade fair from 5 to 8 October, once again confirms itself as an event of international standing. The trade fair, organized by FederUnacoma in collaboration with Ente Fiera del Levante and the Department of Agriculture of the Puglia Region, is dedicated to machines, equipment and technologies for Mediterranean agriculture.
Focus on BtoB meetings
Manufacturers from 18 countries will participate in Agrilevante 2023 edition, while visitors from 60 countries in Southern Europe, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Balkans are expected. In particular, specialized economic operators from 35 countries and selected by the ICE agency and FederUnacoma are expected to hold business-to-business meetings. Meetings aimed at the purchase of new generation technologies for the cereal, wine, olive oil, fruit and vegetable, livestock and bioenergy supply chains.
A pavilion that will be located in the northern area of the fairgrounds and specially set up for the business meetings of foreign delegates, who will be able to make use of the reception, interpreting and assistance services in contracts provided by ICE and FederUnacoma.
The information campaign in the target countries
In preparation for the fair, several meetings were held abroad focused on the promotion of Agrilevante 2023 edition www.agrilevante.eu. Starting with the international press conference held in April at the Ciheam Mediterranean agronomic institute in Bari. This was followed by the dissemination initiatives carried out in Azerbaijann during Caspian Agro in Baku, and as part of the Konya Agricultural Fair in Turkey, and the press conference on the occasion of the Siam Fair of Méknes in Morocco.
Finally, the presentation of the event made by the President of FederUnacoma Alessandro Malavolti on May 20 at the International Agricultural Fair of Novi Sad in Serbia, on the occasion of the official mission of the Italian Government.
Other initiatives are planned for Agrilevante 2023 edition, such as the press conference on June 9 in Thessaloniki, as part of the Forward Green fair, while a second conference is already scheduled for June 21 in Algeria on the occasion of the Algiers International Agricultural Fair. Further initiatives are being defined, to provide technical data on the exhibition, information on the types of vehicles on display and previews on the calendar of conferences and seminars on technological but also political-economic topics that will enliven the four days of the Apulian event.
