Mecfor 2023, the second edition of the b2b event organized by Fiere di Parma and Ceu-Centro Esposizioni Ucimu, will take place in Parma from 23 to 25 May.
The event organized in joint venture between the partners combines 3 sections in an innovative way corresponding to as many independent exhibitions and perfectly synchronous with the market demand for production flexibility, innovative machinery and responding to environmental sustainability criteria.
The event is held in Parma, a district of excellence for manufacturing companies of every sector and genre, within an exhibition center that is easy to reach by car or train.
There will be hundreds of exhibitors displaying machines, technologies and solutions, developed to meet the needs of the manufacturing sector.
One format, three events
Three sections and two different and synergistic industrial visions: that of the manufacturing industry on the one hand and third-party processing on the other.
Mecfor 2023 https://www.mecforparma.it/ is the only Italian fair where it is possible to find leading companies in three distinct areas that give their names to the sections: Turning, Revamping and Subcontracting.
Subfornitura is the historic exhibition of Fiere di Parma, which will be relaunched within the new format returning to its original prominent position.
It will present a complete offer – from mechanics to plastics to electronics – and will be dedicated to operators interested in acquiring services, outsourcing part of their business both in traditional and more innovative sectors.
Revamping, on the other hand, will show how machine tools can, if regenerated and equipped with new functions, have a second life. A response to new needs of a different demand than that intercepted with the first sale (sale of the new). This is an interesting principle for the user who can find a more convenient offer in economic terms without derogating from quality, considering the high level of exposure of the machinery which will all meet the criteria set by Industry 4.0.
Mecfor 2023: focus on the lathe
Finally Turning, the section dedicated to the machine tool par excellence, namely the lathe. One of the first and most widespread production systems operating in the chip removal machine sector. In this specific segment, Italy boasts high-level skills that are an expression of the ingenuity of the myriad of companies, mostly distributed in the North between Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Triveneto.
Numerous conferences are planned, with insights on the topics of machine safety, SCIP (Substances of Concern In Products) Notifications and EU obligations on vaccinations, visas, risk assessment and geopolitical reports.
