In Turin, Salone OFF 2023 , the International Book Fair, will take place from 18 to 22 May at Lingotto Fiere.
The protagonists as always also in this 35th edition are the books, which fill the spaces of the Lingotto Fiere and the Oval in the pavilions in via Nizza.
The 2023 edition of the event also presents the next director, better director given that it is Annalena Benini. In fact, the journalist from Il Foglio will direct the show in the three-year period 2024-2026, taking over from Nicola Lagioia.
Books “invade” the urban space
But books also find space in the Piedmontese capital with the Salone OFF 2023 which returns to animate, with the usual festival dedicated to books and reading, the districts of the eight Districts, some Municipalities of the Metropolitan City and various cities of the Region. Its 19th edition was presented today, Wednesday 10 May, at the Spazio Arena della Cavallerizza in Turin (thanks to the collaboration with Paratissima, on the occasion of the Graphic Days festival 4-14 May).
A widespread event throughout the city and the regional area which, born in 2004, confirms the attention towards the territory, the dialogue with all the participating realities, the vocation to liven up cultural places, offer food for thought and pure entertainment, planning and experimenting together moments of promotion of books and reading.
There are about 600 appointments that find space in more than 300 spaces.
An engaging schedule
