2023 Milan Games Week & Cartoomics changes and transforms into MGWCMX, the event “designed” on generation Z. The dates to mark on the calendar are 24, 25 and 26 November, while the occupied pavilions of Fieramilano Rho will be 9, 11, 13 and 15.
Pop culture has become a universal common denominator, a point of contact that manages to unite an increasingly wide variety of people without any discrimination. It is the manifesto of a present that lives projected into a future in the making, as in an eternal “upload” of stimuli, experiences, stories and connections.

Tom Jilesen signs the 2023 visual

This is the spirit of the 2023 Milan Games Week & Cartoomics dedicated to video games, esports, board games, comics, manga and the world of animation. This is the vision that inspired the artist, illustrator and animator of the entertainment industry Tom Jilesen, for the creation of the visual of the 2023 edition. A vortex of interconnected individuals and defined solely by their passions that points to a free and full of opportunities.

To better accompany the message enclosed in the illustration and celebrate the success achieved with the 2022 edition, the event changes its look and projects itself into tomorrow, entrusting its image to the Sicilian graphic designer Camara. Founder together with RSH of the multidisciplinary collective Câimbra, he created a graphical representation of the MGW + CMX contractions. A graphic that depicts the aerial evolutions of a shinobi, a Japanese character known for agility and speed and that describes the dynamism of this increasingly avant-garde project.

2023 Milan Games Week & Cartoomics: more space for attractions

Lots of news about this event. First of all, the transfer to the new spaces within the traditional Fieramilano Rho exhibition center, for a total of 38,000 m2 of entertainment, 8,000 m2 more than the last edition.
An experience distributed in 4 pavilions that will welcome the public in total comfort and safety, allowing everyone to explore the many areas optimized to guarantee visitors the possibility of following all the attractions easily.
The map of the event is thus divided into themed districts such as the now classic Studios areas which will host the best of entertainment among the main costuming and impersonator communities; Electric Town, the space dedicated to everything from the East: manga, anime, video games, food and gadgets and a Gaming Zone with hundreds of consoles for free play.
At 2023 Milan Games Week & Cartoomics https://www.milangamesweek.it/ new spaces for shows, talks and panels spread over 6 stages that add up to a spectacular new concept Central Stage, which dominates the huge arenas of the Esportshow , the Comics & Games area and the Creators World.

This new configuration of the event will not lack the presence of the Heroes, real creators of stories, worlds and universes of fantasy.
