As always, Agrilevante 2023, which will take place in the Bari exhibition center from 5 to 8 October, will not only be the place of technologies, but also the place of ideas and projects.
This was reiterated by the General Manager of FederUnacoma, Simona Rapastella, during the presentation of the seventh edition of the biennial exhibition of machinery and technologies for agriculture in the Mediterranean area.
The event is organized by FederUnacoma in partnership with Fiera del Levante, with the support of the Department of Agriculture of the Puglia Region, and in collaboration with the Municipality of Bari and AIA-ARE Puglia, with the universities of Bari and Foggia and with the Ciheam of Bari.
Agrilevante 2023: technologies and insights
Economic operators and agricultural entrepreneurs from Mediterranean Europe, the Balkan countries, the Middle East, northern and sub-Saharan Africa will be in Bari in October to learn about the most advanced technologies for arable crops, for animal husbandry, fruit growing and above all for viticulture and olive growing. In addition to this, the focus of the event will also be an in-depth analysis of the most topical political-economic issues and the development models that lie ahead for this vast region.
The technical depth of Agrilevante 2023 is underlined both by the presence of all the best mechanical production for agriculture and gardening and by the sections dedicated to robotics and the most advanced electronic systems.
Added to this is the FederUnacoma competition for high-tech innovations. “The competition – as underlined by Rapastella during the presentation – rewards as “Technical Innovations” and as “Technical Reports” those models, selected by a jury of experts, which introduce completely new solutions or which improve already existing technologies, combining the ‘production efficiency with environmental sustainability and occupational safety’.
The international presence is growing
The review is structured to cover, in addition to the traditional agricultural supply chains, also the livestock sector. This includes specific technologies for farms and a large area that houses hundreds of fine cattle, horses, sheep, goats and poultry and rabbits. Together with the New Pavilion, pavilions 19 and 20 will be engaged during Agrilevante 2023 https://www.agrilevante.eu/it/, while specific outdoor areas will be dedicated to digital and robotic technologies and to the tests of the “Contractor Driver Trophy” competition promoted by Edagricole.
The program of conferences, meetings and workshops is also very articulated, created in collaboration with the University of Bari and Foggia, the Ciheam of Bari and the publishing houses of the agricultural and agro-mechanical sector.
All this in an international context – economic operators from over 60 countries and about 35 official delegations – where emphasis will be placed on the new structure reserved for official foreign delegations, located behind the Congress Centre. A space equipped to encourage business-to-business meetings organized by FederUnacoma in collaboration with the ICE Agency.
