As part of the Salone del Mobile 2023, from 18 to 23 April at Fieramilano Rho, the Biennale Euroluce 2023 will also take place this year, which returns after a 4-year shutdown due to the pandemic. The international lighting exhibition, in balance between technology and poetry, architecture and design, has always been a source of inspiration for the design dimension of light.
Now in its 31st appointment, the event is renewed in the exhibition layout, primarily redesigned to ensure a better connection between the 4 pavilions. A new format that also aims to simplify the visit route – which becomes an irregular ring and takes inspiration from the road routes of traditional Italian villages – and, at the same time, increases the visibility of the exhibitors, ensuring everyone has adequate space.
The Euroluce 2023 Biennale project, developed by the Lombardini22 studio, is inspired by the shape of an ideal city, with streets, squares, benches, areas for recharging telephones, computers and tablets, cafes, but all conceived as a miniature city, to be explored on foot and is no longer focused on stands and exhibitors, but looks at visitors and wants to give them an experience. In summary: many points of reference to facilitate the visit, fluid and barrier-free paths and opportunities for reflection between one stand and another.

The concept and common thread of this year’s fair will be “The city of Lights”.
The heart of the event will be Aurore, a large square and arena for immersive and reflective experiences and a place dedicated to various talks.
The main exhibitions are five, involving artists and curators of different aptitudes, generations and origins.
Furthermore, at the Euroluce 2023 Biennale https://www.salonemilano.it/it/manifestazioni/euroluce multidisciplinary projects, which, sure of the results of the formal and technological experimentations of the products of the best design companies present here, open up to dialogue with other areas of creativity, such as the world of architecture, interior architecture and set-up, installation, painting, sculpture and photography.
The 2023 product offer ranges from novelties in terms of outdoor, indoor, industrial lighting fixtures, for shows and events, for the hospital sector, for special uses to those in terms of lighting and home automation systems, light sources and software for light technologies.

The Euroluce 2023 Biennale is not only the meeting and business place par excellence, but also the avant-garde event in the field of eco-sustainability and energy saving in both the decorative and lighting sectors.
