
Asphaltica 2023, dedicated to sustainable technologies and solutions for road paving and road infrastructure, is back in Verona from 3 to 7 May, promoted by Siteb-Strade Italiane e Bitumi and Veronafiere.
The event represents a supply chain, the one linked to the world of bitumen, which in Italy is worth between 18 and 20 billion euros, with 400 plants and 35,000 direct employees who reach 500,000 considering related industries.
Focus on the mobility of the future
Give substance to investments for the safety of the Italian road heritage, make the most of the resources of the Pnrr to design more durable and sustainable roads, conceive smart roads for the mobility of tomorrow, also through the effective use of recycled materials. Here are some of the themes and ideas that will be at the center of this edition of Asphaltica 2023 which will see the participation of managers and heads of public administrations and the main industry operators in the sector. A broad sector that includes machine and plant manufacturers, oil companies, research laboratories, the chemical industry for rubber and additives, alternative inert materials, reinforcing and waterproofing membranes for road surfaces.
Other targets involved are representatives of national and local institutions and experts who will also discuss best practices and new green technologies.
Siteb’s 50th anniversary
Asphaltica 2023 www.asphaltica.it, which will be held in pavilion 11 of the Verona Fair, with a large outdoor area, already sees the exhibition spaces available to operators sold out today, testifying to the great interest of the sector.
This event will also take place in conjunction with SaMoTer – International Construction Machinery Exhibition. A contemporaneity that aims to establish an integrated exhibition center entirely dedicated to the construction chain and the world of roads.
There will also be conference moments promoted by the main companies and dynamic demonstrations on the most innovative and sustainable products for building and maintaining roads, conducted in open spaces.
In fact, the event will, as always, also be an opportunity for operators to showcase the most advanced products and technologies to increase the safety of our road network and reduce polluting emissions.
In addition to the conference programme, during the five days of Asphaltica 2023, as many events will be held in the Agorà organized by Siteb, during which key issues for mobility will be explored, starting with the green transition of our roads.
A special event will also be dedicated to Siteb’s 50th anniversary, which took place in this very month of May. A moment during which the 10 decades experienced by the sector will be retraced, the main innovations that have changed its face, the most important moments.
