
The 3rd MiMo – Milano Monza Motor Show was presented, which will take place from 16 to 18 June, with a calendar full of events and news. Like the test drives of all the engines inside the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and an exhibition hub in Piazza Duomo in Milan, which will also be an information point for visitors.
There will be three dynamic days that will color the paddocks, the pits, the high-speed ring and the Formula 1 track of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. During the event, the public will be able to try out all the innovations offered by the over 40 car and motorcycle manufacturers present. Visitors will be able to test the models in a 4 km ad hoc test drive circuit which includes a passage on the ancient elevated roads, and with chicanes which allow to simulate the different conditions of use of the car and put the steering and suspension to the test.
At the 3th MiMo there will also be the Focus Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Cars, an in-depth look at “plug-in” models. The area, which is located on the straight line of the high-speed ring road, will include an educational part, with a passage through the rest area where visitors will test the different charging possibilities offered and will be informed about the issues concerning the daily management of electric models and plug-in hybrids.
The news of the schedule
At the 3rd MiMo https://www.milanomonza.com/ will be inaugurated on 16 June by the Premiere Parade and by Monzanapolis, both parades that will see the total 10 km covered by the union between the Formula 1 track and the high-speed ring . That is, the present and the past of motor racing.
The Premiere Parade will see the representatives of the car manufacturers at the wheel of their new products accompanied by journalists, testimonials, sportsmen and ambassadors. While Monzanapolis will be the celebration of the union of the two circuits which took place for the last time in 1961 and which will see the participation of collectors and owners of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bentley, Dallara, Porsche, Lotus.
At the 3rd MiMo, June 17 will be the day dedicated to clubs and meetings, including the fashion show celebrating the 120th anniversary of Aci Milano. The parade will start right from the historic Aci headquarters in Corso Venezia in Milan.
Sunday 18 June will instead be the day of the Indy Autonomous Challenge. For the first time in Europe, and on a circuit with bends and braking points, the competition of self-driving racing cars without a driver programmed by teams made up of universities and research centers from all over the world.
