18th Klimahouse ended on Saturday 11 March, the international event on renovation and energy efficiency in buildings which returned to attendance on 8 March. As always, the 18th edition, again exceptionally in March, brought together sector operators, cutting-edge startups and end users, showing the best of solutions for the green future of homes and mobility.
Fully occupied exhibition spaces visited by 32,000 people, 100 events and 500 participants at the Klimahouse Congress.
These are the numbers of Klimahouse 2023 which confirms its reference role for market orientation in the ecological transition.

The first Wood Architecture Prize

18th Klimahouse was centered on various transversal thematic focuses of great relevance. Starting from innovation in construction, passing through social housing and the energy challenge, up to wood.
Among the main initiatives, also this year, the Klimahouse Prize, organized by Fiera Bolzano in collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic, to reward companies that have most distinguished themselves for innovation, circular economy and market evolution capacity.
Success also for the first edition of the Wood Architecture Prize, set up by Fiera Bolzano in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin and the Iuav of Venice. Two (out of three categories) the local projects to triumph: the Hotel La Briosa in Bolzano (experimental architecture), born from the design proposal of the South Tyrolean architects Felix Perasso and Daniele Tolpeit and the nursery school in Sluderno (private architecture), designed by Roland Baldi by Roland Baldi Architects.

18th Klimahouse: a positive climate

The Klimahouse Tours, guided tours of the most virtuous sustainable buildings in South Tyrol, organized in collaboration with the Architecture Foundation, are almost all sold out. Participation in the Klimahouse Congress, organized with the CasaClima Agency, also did well, which this year focused on everyone’s accessibility to a quality home.
“With this eighteenth edition, the fair has more than confirmed its role as leader for sustainable construction at a national level – comments the director of Fiera Bolzano, Thomas Mur -. In addition to the high media interest, the positive climate among exhibitors, visitors and partners was clearly noted: an encouraging sign for the irreducible spirit of innovation inherent in this fair”.
