
The Veronafiere 2023 group has strengthened the team of top managers with two new appointments. These are Raul Barbieri and Adolfo Rebughini, respectively appointed as head of commercial management and chief operating officer.
This is the comment of the president of the trade fair organization, Federico Bricolo: “With this operation we complete the process of strengthening the decision-making and management assets, which began in 2022 with the establishment of the figure of the managing director. The appointment of the two managers, confirmed by the board of directors, aims to acquire, integrate and enhance specific skills and experiences. Characteristics aligned with our strategic objectives, to compete better in an increasingly complex, volatile and challenging global market scenario”.

Veronafiere 2023: the two managers
A graduate in Economics and Commerce, Barbieri began his career at Riello Condizionatori as head of external relations and communication. In 1996 he was at the Ente Fiera di Vicenza where he grew up to the role of sales and marketing director of non-goldsmith exhibitions. From 2004 to 2009 he held the position of general manager of PiacenzaExpo, then moving on to the Arezzo Fair as general manager. In 2014 he joined Veronafiere https://www.veronafiere.it as general manager of Piemmeti, a subsidiary of the group that organizes Progetto Fuoco, together with Wood-Experience, the only Italian exhibition dedicated to the entire wood supply chain.
Adolfo Rebughini has a degree in Economics and Financial Market Institutions from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and a Strategic human resources leadership certificate from eCornell University. At the beginning of 2007 he left PricewaterhouseCoopers to join UniCredit, first in the retail division and then covered the role of International industrial relations officer and program manager. In 2014 he moved to Munich, as Head of Human Resources for the Global Financing and Advisory, Family Office and CIB France perimeters. In 2018 he returned to Milan as HR director in the Group digital area of UniCredit as head of human resources, the evolution of digital skills and strategic projects.
