Italian Capital of Culture 2023 together with Brescia, Bergamo therefore becomes the capital of amusement for three days. A sector that goes from traditional games to virtual reality, passing through ticket redemption and video games. Games and entertainment at 360 degrees for a fair that involves not only companies but also families.

Family Entertainment Expo: the future of Italian amusement

The debut at the Bergamo exhibition and congress center is in fact the first trade fair in the sector, organized in synergy with the operators. An essential appointment for entrepreneurs working in the entertainment sector and a new opportunity to discover trends and raise important issues regarding the future of Italian amusement.
Luciano Patelli, president of Promoberg, the company that manages the Bergamo Fair: “With Family Entertainment Expo we are launching a new event that involves all aspects of entertainment, from adventure parks to rides, from table football to virtual reality. It is important to make people understand that those who provide entertainment also play a social role in which fun and smiles are the winners”.

Family Entertainment Expo: an important but under-represented supply chain

There will be over 50 companies present on the 6,500 square meters of Fiera di Bergamo, coming from Italy and from six countries, representing the main national and international brands. This is the reason why Family Entertainment Expo has earned its international status since its debut.
The most represented region in terms of companies is Lombardy, with 11 companies, 5 of which are from Bergamo, followed by Emilia-Romagna (7) Lazio and Campania (5), Piedmont and Veneto (4), Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Umbria (2). Following, with a company, Abruzzo, Liguria, Marche, Puglia, Tuscany and Trentino Alto Adige. As far as foreign markets are concerned, the six companies come from Argentina, Poland, Germany, the Republic of San Marino, Belgium and Romania.
Among the most represented product sectors at Family Entertainment Expo https://feexpo.it/fiera-bergamo/ bowling, family entertainment centers, video games, table football, carousels, gadgets.

The amusement supply chain in Italy involves 60,000 employees and hundreds of companies working in the production sector. Realities and professionals that reach 500,000 if we also take into account the front office and administrative sectors.
