
Vinitaly Verona 2023, scheduled at Veronafiere from 2 to 5 April, consolidates its business and service positioning in support of one of the most strategic sectors of Italian exports.
For the 55th edition of the international wine and spirits exhibition, over 100,000 net square meters will be dedicated to over 4,000 companies representing all of the Made in Italy wine industry and to buyers arriving from 30 countries (data updated to 2 March, ed.)
Business, but also communication. The event, in fact, is a mega spot for Italian wine with almost 4 billion audience generated on the media in Italy and abroad in the key week of the event.
A return of indirect promotion that also involves the other two exhibitions taking place simultaneously in Verona: Enolitech with Vinitaly Design and Sol&Agrifood with B/Open and Xcellent Beers. Events that bring the total exhibition in the district to more than 4,400 companies.
Vinitaly Verona 2023: a rich calendar
As far as business themes and formats are concerned, the 55th exhibition will be preceded, on 1 April, by Vinitaly OperaWine, a prologue tasting with the 130 standard-bearer producers selected by Wine Spectator.
The schedule sees the reconfirmation of the thematic areas Vinitaly Bio, International wine hall, Vinitaly Mixology and Micro Mega Wines. Over 70 tastings currently scheduled in the official calendar of the event (updated on vinitaly.com).
Space also for competitions. On March 22, the International packaging competition – Vinitaly Design returns, which rewards the best packaging for trends, design and innovation of wines, spirits, liqueurs, beer and extra virgin olive oil. While 5 StarsWines The Book and Wine without walls are the awards for companies that invest in the qualitative improvement of their products.
“Vinitaly and the city”
The distinction between trade fair operators and wine lovers continues at Vinitaly Verona 2023. “Vinitaly and the city” is dedicated to the latter, a path of wine talks, tastings, exhibitions and off-show events in the most representative places in the city. These include Piazza dei Signori, Cortile Mercato Vecchio and Cortile del Tribunale.
