After the conclusion of the February fairs – Uomo, Bimbo, Filati and Taste – which met with considerable success and awaiting the appointments next June, the new CdA Pitti Immagine met in Florence on 3 March. Board that will lead the company in the three-year period 2023-2026 under the presidency of the newly elected Antonio De Matteis.
During the first meeting, De Matteis first of all thanked the shareholders, thus emphasizing his readiness to develop the guidelines for the institution.

In fact, at the same time as the appointments, the board of directors wanted to indicate the objectives that will be priorities in the three-year period in question.
Starting with the acquisition of specific skills and the implementation of organizational models consistent with the transformations of the global market and the promotional strategies of companies. A further internationalization of the salons will also be fundamental with the acceleration on the front of the integration between physical and digital.
Focus on the collaboration with local authorities in the complex lot of the renovation works of the Fortezza da Basso exhibition venue. And again: diversification of sectors of activity and lengthening of the exhibition season with projects carried out under the sign of selection, services, communication and production culture. Finally, a decisive transition towards a company approach characterized by the best practices of sustainability and social responsibility.
CdA Pitti Immagine https://www.pittimmagine.com is therefore made up of Antonio De Matteis (president), Antonella Mansi (vice president), Giovanni Basagni, Stefano Borsini, Ercole Botto Poala, Marco Landi, Niccolò Moschini, the .d. Raphael Napoleon, Lorenzo Nencini, Marco Palmieri, Niccolò Ricci.
The Board of Statutory Auditors is made up of the chairman Massimo Bianchi together with Deborah Sassorossi and Guido Ceron.

CdA Pitti Immagine: the importance of collective work

This is Antonio De Matteis’ comment: “In pursuing these objectives, I can count on a board of directors made up of prominent personalities, who I am sure will be able to make a decisive contribution, both in terms of their individual entrepreneurial and managerial experience, and in terms of it will emerge from collegial work on general strategies and programmes.
And together with them a dedicated, motivated and high-level operational structure, which has brought the company out of the deep crisis caused by Covid and which is now decisively relaunching its exhibition activities. Also for this reason I want to send a special thanks to those who preceded me, Claudio Marenzi, who was the inspirer and emblem of this spirit of resilience and courage, together with the other outgoing directors”.
CdA Pitti Immagine then proceeded with the proxies. Raffaello Napoleone was reconfirmed managing director and Agostino Poletto as general manager.
