Also this year Mecspe 2023, scheduled at BolognaFiere from 29 to 31 March and organized by Senaf, collects adhesions from all over the country and from abroad. In fact, around 2000 companies in the sector have already decided to exhibit in the halls of the main fair dedicated to innovation in the manufacturing industry, and numerous visitors are expected.
In the 2022 edition, the event saw the presence of over 39,000 professional visitors, 2,000 companies present on 92,000 m2 of exhibition space, 2,000 m2 of the Heart Show Mecspe Live Academy, a total of 16 special initiatives and conferences.

Training, innovation and sustainability

Mecspe 2023 opens its doors to a highly qualified and professional audience for three immersive days.
The aim is to illustrate innovative and sustainable solutions for the supply chain, paving the way towards the future of industry 4.0 with a program developed on the three pillars of the event: training, innovation and sustainability.
In particular, the 2023 edition focuses on innovation in the energy field with a privileged look at the automotive sector. The new Cuore Mostra entitled “Energy transition and mobility of the future” is an area of 2,000 square meters entirely dedicated to the discussion on the issues of sustainable mobility and the technological solutions that will favor its progress.
Within the Cuore Mostra present in Mecspe 2023 www.mecspe.com, the focuses of the area will be addressed through demonstration stations, round tables and moments of debate with the protagonists of the supply chain.
That is, Solutions and Technologies for the mobility of the future, Machines, Equipment and Production Systems to optimize efficiency, Reshoring for subcontracting chains and Metal replacement.

The debut of the Salone Elettronica Italia

The novelty of Mecspe 2023 will be that it will be held simultaneously with the first edition of the Salone Elettronica Italia, which will occupy pavilion 28 of the Bologna exhibition centre. The area will be representative of all industrial applications related to electronics, from the design phases to the production of components and systems, from systems to services up to the subsequent distribution on the market of components, complex assemblies, production machines and test systems .
The aim of the new event will be to offer the visitor a glimpse of the whole sector from a national and international point of view.
Several thematic roundtables are also scheduled, such as that of 29 March “Electronics in the mobility of the future” and that of 30 March “The industrial recovery of electronics: advantages, regulations, bureaucratic difficulties”.
